Michael Gaines can write 5 shows a year and make more than your combined household income. Homie hasn't "fallen off" as much as he is clearly among the best, he has a clear and unique voice, and can demand the price and work schedule he wants.

This. At the very beginning of my experience you could struggle through without a job if you worked your tail off in the off season (tour fees were 2k-3k). Nowadays if mom and dad arenāt footing the bill itās practically impossible.
Pretty sad tbh. This activity should push young people to work hard before, during, and after the season. If itās becoming more and more impossible to āpull yourself up by your bootstrapsā and work to pay tuition, I feel like weāre losing a core value.
But what does it communicate? To me it communicates emotion, power, and precision. Assess whatever you want, but donāt be sad when you interpret something wrong or canāt interpret it at all because you didnāt understand the communication.
Almost always, "don't understand the communication" is a failure by those attempting to communicate, not by those on the receiving end. Of course, classic communication theory requires both sender and receiver to be active participants, but the responsibility for creating the opportunity for understanding rests, foremost, with the person/composer/artist/performer attempting to get an idea across.
If youāre fortunate to have rocks (ice) in your water jug, stick a Gatorade or sports drink to your choice in your jug as well. When you finish your water youāll have a nice cold tasty treat at the bottom.
Itās idealistic to believe a man wants to be just your friend. I wonāt say that some rare exceptions donāt exist, because there are always outliers, but generally yes. If a man is texting you āhowās your dayā wanting to link up, wanting to drink with you, offering you favors, heās absolutely picturing what you look like naked and itās not even a compliment to you. Itās an animalistic evolutionary need that heās trying to satisfy anyway he can.
