Great for you I'm happy but what is someone that's new to the market supposed to do? I don't think being a boot camp grad is viable anymore and no one wants to hire true juniors that just have an internship or no job experience but side projects. This market feels impossible for newcomers.
Adding this since so many are asking. I attended an in person boot camp run by galvanize. Obviously it worked out for me, but over half don’t have a tech job and of the half that do, maybe 3 others have a job over 100K. Of the ones that got good jobs, I’m the only one without a bachelors. For reference, there were about 30 in my class.
If you dive into the details in the report, the a big driver was domestic purchases. People were spending more money on stuff. But economists are also concerned that consumer borrowing continues to increase as well.
How do you think this ties into the increase in pay as you go loans like affirm? My understanding is they aren’t reported as consumer debt until they become delinquent
Hmm. I'm just guessing, but maybe its the ratio that is off. For example I currently take 5000iu of D and 200ug of K2. You could try that, or just upping the K2 to 200ug and keeping the D the same.
Life sucks and the world sucks today. Everything is getting worse/horrible. If people need to smoke some weed or eat an edible to survive another day then power to them.
It’s a hard grind brother. After 21 months, I came super close to ending my OE reign but replaced my J2 weeks before I was laid off. Best of luck, stay average
I successfully negotiated severance after being on a pip. I asked if I could waive my unemployment rights in exchange for 4 weeks pay. Better job market, embarrassment on taking unemployment, toxic male pride, blah blah. Landed at 4 weeks, maybe could’ve gotten more.
Oof, it’s always worth it to double benefits. You can have secondary health/dental/vision insurance and reap the savings. I’ve doubled on preventative care, blood work, contacts +glasses, paid nothing for cavities at my dentist of choice. Tough time to learn a valuable lesson.
Regardless what others have to say about this never leading to burnout, they are the true OE minority. I find that while I work 35-40 hours a week, it’s mentally draining knowing you aren’t putting forth your best effort. Even if you do well and maintain a good output, this is not a righteous endeavor. For those who aren’t sociopaths, it’s draining in unexpected ways
Nicknames are your friend. I have a hyphenated name, so I used to go with 1+4, 2+3 and 2+4 at my three jobs.

Build apps that are demonstrably good, have strong soft skills, and have some OpenAI or equivalent experience.

Lmao, I’ve been giddy just getting let go. Especially when I was fired in one ear and taking stand up in the other

I have it on my steam deck and love it. But I didn't know you can play online too! How do we connect it online?
I went through the install guide for euphoria and it works great!
Awesome! I'll Google that later. I really appreciate it!
Here,
Vacation time!
What doses of D and K2 can I ask?
10,000/100

Interesting, I’ll give it a try and check back in.
Looks cool!

…what? The world has never been as easy and forgiving for people than today?
Most people in this sub haven’t experienced 2 jobs, let alone three.

Good question, I work about 50 hours a week so not a huge amount more than standard. That being said it’s a solid 50 hours. Always on.

I would recommend regular massages, they’ve been a lifesaver during stressful weeks
You get to keep all your laptops?!
Lost the jobs from layoffs?
We’re talking about right now. What has ASAP done recently? Big Sean dropped a great album recently. Cole is on a better run than Kendrick right now.
L take. Kendrick followed up Pulitzer Prize winning album with a raw and philosophical expression. J Cole has fire features and that’s it
98% of this sub can’t handle the game
If it’s your first job. Otherwise you have to disclose employment on your background screening and lying to the government is slightly frowned upon.
I appreciate the advice, I'll give it a shot
Vpn router works so well. I took multiple vacations out of the country with zero repercussions. Be sure to set up two in case internet dies for one.
Yeah but they don’t want more…because I’m sure it doesn’t look good for the stocks
What do you mean? The stock rises from layoffs
