  1. Not that you need any more projects, but have you considered some sort of gingerbread to detract from the attic vent? You are doing amazing job restoring this fine little lady!

  2. There should be a tech sheet located behind the cover near the control panel, but if it's gone you may be able to find the information on GE's support website. I'm honestly surprised a PTAC made it 20 years.

  3. LEGO sets. They've been appreciating in value more than gold.

  4. Just had this issue on my 2012 2.5 Jetta. Took me forever to figure out the issue, I got an aftermarket part for around $40 that got rid of the weld altogether, replaced with a clamp band (

  5. Probably the same one you got. Manufactured by Sunsong, sold as importers direct. Available on Amazon for slightly more money.

  6. Gotcha, thanks for the reply! Wouldn't be surprised if a majority of the aftermarket ones are all made by Sunsong. I swore I looked at O'Reillys when I was having my issue, do they just have the wrong photo on their site? If so I wish I would've gone there first, spent like two weeks waiting for the one on Amazon. Looks like the import direct has the welded aluminum hold instead of the updated clamp band. "13404282"

  7. Could have been a revision after they created the listing too. At least they carry it in stores!

  8. One of the housekeepers is going to take her home!

  9. I don't know if she does or not.

  10. Make sure that you use a neoprene gasket when reinstalling this style of toilet! They are pricey, and it's likely that it was installed with a wax ring, which would cause the leak.

  11. Former guest flushed a trash bag. Less than 5 minutes with the power washer, after plungers and the auger and she was ready. At least it wasn't a needle!

  12. Y'all need a bigger dumpster!

  13. This is where the employer chimes in "it's not in the budget"

  14. Exactly! I know it's not, we've been hit for about $200,000 so far this year, but that's part of the joy of an 25 year old property.

  15. Check the area hotels. They're always in need of good maintenance workers and front desk agents. Pay will vary by the chain, but it will definitely be more than minimum wage.

  16. I would have been all too happy to rent a nice woodchipper. Probably wouldn't get my deposit back, but sometimes you need to set an example, you know?

  17. This is one of the many reasons why our hotel purchased our own little wood chipper. It's been named Lorne Malvo Jr.

  18. Having installed one of these on my bug that didn’t bring one of these, I say you can go with the $168 one because it seems like it’s the exact same part. This specific part came only for The Beetle A5 (2012+) as far as I know. So, I think you are pretty safe buying the cheap one. There are no differences that I can see, and the armrest, interior, and most of the body remained the same for the 7 years The Beetle was in production. (A fact that I LOVE)

  19. Thanks man! I'll need to get a day off when I can get her washed and I'll post some pics.

  20. Totally awesome! Can’t wait to see it. I’m a big VW Beetle A5 fan. And of those A5s in particular. They have so many cool modern retro touches.

  21. United Refrigeration in NKC is hiring....

  22. Current brand standards get rid of that horrible Rookwood Red accent wall. We're painted in analytical gray and agreeable gray. I really wish they would stick with one sheen versus two for each color. Exterior paint colors are due by March of next year. If you're a corporate owned franchise, don't hold your breath, they don't want to spend the money to meet brand standards. If you're an non-corporate owned franchise, it'll depend on your PIP, but I believe it's due.

  23. Thanks for much! I tried sending you a message but it says not allowed. Can you DM me or change your settings to allow message? Thanks!

  24. Taken care of. It really depends on the property improvement plan. I know that a lot of the bedding is backordered. You'll have someone with RRI that visits, we'll be seeing her here soon.

  25. Try looking up instructions for Whirlpool unitized laundry. I believe that is who actually built these for GE.

  26. This isn't for me. It's for a guest at the hotel I work at, posting on mobile with 500 million things going on at once was probably not a good idea this morning.

  27. The Honeywell T9 series I just installed at work came with a PEK adapter and was super easy to set up. I think I like it much better than the Best.

  28. Salvajor is the best of the best! Made in Kansas City Missouri with pride! You definitely get what you pay for.

  29. It started as a test and a quick way to de-ugly cheap steel tubs, but I've had good luck using Kilz. It's held up surprisingly well.
