  1. So? lol. Are you also disappointed at poor states like West Virginia or Mississippi being so poor and uneducated?

  2. I’m sure they do. But this data is about people who live in the US from Spanish speaking countries. Since PR is a US colony, it is fair that to be disappointed in how American ‘leadership’ continues to disenfranchise the natives. When I see any community suffer I am disappointed.

  3. PR is not a US colony. It was a former colony by the spanish empire, and is part of US territory.

  4. A territory is a neocolonial practice of referring to a colony. But thank you for participating in this conversation, it is an important one for sure. If interested there are wonderful books out there with our fascinating, sad, and inspiring history. I recommend “War Against All Puerto Ricans” if you are not turned off by the direct title.

  5. Red Pistachios, only because I need to see it again to know that wasn’t a fever dream

  6. I didn't mean to be hurtful. Maybe I was. Having a hard day, maybe I'm being a jerk with this comment.

  7. Oh I’m so sorry if it came out like that! I thought it was so sweet how they responded vs attacking you. I love how sweet everyone is in this thread it’s a nice change of pace, we are so angry sometimes it’s nice to just talk to each other

  8. I was curious about this post and OP's experience and my original comment came out aggressive.

  9. It happens! We lose so much nuance in text and it was so sweet to see the Redditor give you the benefit of the doubt. Such a breath of fresh air

  10. Definitely quit and make sure if you have any PTO to use it first. Then remember that this org’s culture is not indicative of the overall culture in healthcare. It’s different from room to room, department to department, hospital to hospital, and state to state.

  11. Lol okay... You don't care if anybody steals your data... so when you get hacked and lose money or an identity, we won't care either.

  12. if someone already used it, what do you recommend ? (legitimately asking, not trying to be rude).

  13. He was such a sweet boy. You don’t know what caused this, he was young and chances are something else caused this. But at least you were with him when it happened and his last moments he knew you loved him.

  14. Also it’s very normal if you want to have a little ceremony for his passing. I think since you watched him pass it would be good for your healing.

  15. First just know you will weave in and out of a deep loss. A loss of love you have pent up and could not share. Perhaps you could invite your close friends to your home and have a ceremony where you say good bye. It would be better if you had a backyard, if you don’t maybe a park. Write a eulogy, maybe make a slide show of pictures and share them. That way you don’t feel like the pictures in your phone are heavy in your pocket.

  16. The length of scenes. Bad movies tend to have a million short and tiny scenes back to back.

  17. I just had the same convo with my bestie. Just wanted to say PMDD is a very common comorbidity with us ADHD gals. The diagnosis and treatment has changed my life. <3

  18. I'm Puerto Rican, its not super common but common enough that I know a few ladies who have the same 1st name as their mom. I should also mention most of us only use our first names formally, like for school. We call each other by our family names, which is a nickname or our middle name.

  19. Regardless of what happens between the teacher and your daughter, the biggest thing that she learned: mom is her ‘ride or die’.

  20. Do your son a solid and lose the immature child in your house (your husband)

  21. Seriously, if this happens in front of her I think mom and son should chat to see if more is happening behind her back. This is super odd

  22. Tie tea towels into a loosish knot and hide kibble all throughout. That will keep my hound busy for like 30 minutes and he will knock out for a nap after. If she rips it up, go with something stronger like a towel.

  23. Hard to see the curtains without the dog in the frame. Can you take more pictures with the dog too?

  24. I agree, the dots are a beautiful touch. It adds dimension in a spectacular way. Keep going my love, I can’t wait to see the final product!

  25. I have discovered that very often my mistakes make a piece better 😅 I try to just run with it.

  26. How poetic! I think I can apply that same spirit in my everyday life. Please tag me when you post the final product, I am very excited for you 🌺

  27. Oh angel face, I am so unbelievably happy for you! I am so proud of you, knowing how hard you working at your goals, what an outstanding achievement. I know those kids are going to be so happy to work with you.
