  1. As both GOG user first and then Steam second, I use both obviously because some games can only be found there, but I'm against DRM no matter how "weak" it is, so I still regularly remove it from any purchases I do and make sure they run without an internt connection on top of it (the latter because some games crash if they are negated/firewalled from accessing internet).

  2. There's a useful extension for that document

  3. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gog-2nd-class-helper/

  4. Interesting, didn't know about this one, thanks!

  5. It's not a bad idea on theory, as I admit there are a few android games which took my interest in, but I see too many issues porting wise:

  6. I dare to say no, for the following reasons:

  7. This is still broken on the forum, meanwhile asshats with perfectly unblocked accounts have pushed topics such as "The GOG forums are a toxic cesspit and should be closed" and "Close the GOG forums" to the top of the wishlist. Glad they have their crack forum team handling the important task of keeping good customers blocked from ever getting their reasonable questions answered by forum members or maybe just from supplying useful information for everyone to share. The main reason I'm pissed is I wrote my post for half an hour then sat watching the Post button spin for another half an hour. They could at least notify people that the forum is busted crap.

  8. The last thing a sane GOG user would want is for the forum to be closed/shutdown, so this is stupid beyond salvation: we even have extremely important threads such as the citizen treatment or the single player with DRM to name a few.

  9. So true yet sadly most GOG customers are under that False Misconception. If he had read the

  10. No, the main difference is that while this true in corporate language, what matters is that WE as GOG customers are in CONTROL of the installers, meaning that they can't prevent us from installing or running our games.

  11. That's true, but I heard that more recent games load faster from an SSD. I'm not sure how much faster though if that's the case.

  12. That's not the problem, the biggest problem (aside their lifespan based on written data) is that SSD complely lose stored data if they are powered down long enough (1+ year depending on manufacturer), which is why just for backup purposes you'd want a HDD (and have a SSD to transfer games into when you want to play them).

  13. Oh wow. Yeah, I have a 12tb external that I use. Glad I made the right choice.

  14. The absolutely best thing you can do for yourself is to completely ignore enemy scaling and just play the game.

  15. This so much! Like OP I was somewhat scared/put off from starting any SaGa game a few years ago, due to how I feared of being softlocked since I enjoy the grind. Then devided to start RS2. How wrong I was! You just have to keep up do date with the gear, and even then you have martial artists to cover you if the worst comes.

  16. I fully agree with you, OP. I'm a mod of the "denuvo games" steam curator (feel free to join it if you want to get warnings about any game using denuvo), and I used to fight daily in the steam forums every time a game I liked released with that crap. Unfortunately those forums are riddled with either ignirant people or shills (both paid and just lickboots), fortunately enough other gaming subs aknowledge how denuvo is cancer for games and their preservation, and yo can easily spot paid shills.

  17. (Romancing) SaGa games come to mind, they offer many characters to recruit with a few of them either being mutually exclusive between them, or based on which one you started with.

  18. I had 0 and kiwami 1 on steam, but ended up getting the complete bundle anyway, the price is a steal considering how much content every game is packed with.

  19. i remember when they had a big sale on Bethesda games like a year ago and i ended up getting the entire Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchise and it cost me like a total of like 35 bucks, i started using the site due to the free games they often give out, its how i ended up getting the original Deus Ex game

  20. Yeah their bundle sale are pretty good and have some old gems which either are bundled with community fixes, or that they fixed themselves (they used to make old games run on moder machines/os).

  21. It’s not much faster I didn’t use it much in 5, but in 6 at least pressing L2/R2 makes it so a heavy stomp that does aoe damage to light enemies. So chaining “left-right-left” makes you stamp around like a kid going through sandcastles and is fairly destructive against insect type hordes.

  22. In 5 also you could chain stomp enemies, albeit it wasn't ideal.

  23. I think it’s been evened out. Can’t remember exactly, but IIRC, Nixes get about 80% of their points cost starting a mission, and Bargas get approx 50% by default.

  24. Can anyone confirm if crossover dlc (i.e. accel world skins iirc) and dengeki dungeons are still available for zhp? Because if not, having it already ln PSP I'd rather wait for a good sale than getting a rough port with some content removed.

  25. Nope, they're gone. Which shouldn't be a surprise, but I still am.

  26. Hello there, do you still have any steam key left? If so, could I get one, please?

  27. A couple ones I have on top of my mind right now:

  28. It was an underrated gems, people really didn't like it that much, but I've personally loved it, it was awesome to do golem hunting!

  29. Its a DLC pack content, a dispatch mission has domon and the god gundam as rewards (100% chance the first time you clear it).

  30. I can't speak for a guide, but to put it short, the type of spaceship you use determines how many unit and pilot slots can be filled.

  31. And are there any chance that they come on the store one day ?

  32. The games that I've listed or the dark souls frinchise? If the former, they are available already, if you were asking for dark souls... I'd just say don't hold your breath. In all these years bamco has used even denuvo in some releases (which fortunately they stopped doing at some point), but considering that they didn't care about removing that from older games (putting aside tekken 7 and SCVI, solely due to the intel cpu incident), I find extremely unlikely that they will bring any DS on GOG.

  33. People already hated EAC, Denuvo and other invasive trash programs that don't even accomplish anything they want. Cheaters still exist. People can still crack and pirate your games. So they're just throwing money down the drain, both in paying these hacks for their shitty programs AND pushing consumers into piracy because it's the only way to avoid that crap.

  34. Exactly this. Snake oil tactics not only don't work, but solely damage the legit consumer, not their counterpart.

  35. I think grave markers might use EOS, though, because back when EOS wasn't blocked on my Pi-hole, they had a lot of issues loading, so I ended up with the pre-placed ones.

  36. Uh, I didn't notice this, but because I did reach the endgame (underworld + abyss), so I wouldn't see any grave in the first place.

  37. To me GOG has lost its identity, but due to the higher ups keeping the DRM-free image while not truly committing into it:

  38. Pokemon (Green)Red/Blue/Yellow when they came out back in the day, the game wasn't difficult by per se, but as a kid having to deal with HM was pure nightmare in my case, partly due to how some NPC gave you hints on where to find X or Y, but also because all the italian cartridges were sold and I was left with an english copy: I basically did fucking travel the rock tunnel to lavender town BLINDLY, trying to find the exit by constantly smashing into the walls, until I was able to find said town.

  39. Since you are into action games, you could also take a look at the "tales of" franchise (tales of arise is the last entry so far) or trials of mana.

  40. I'm surprised when talking about shadow hearts covenant you omitted Joachim, vonsidering that he is a vampire with wrestling addition, coupled with his whole gimmick of getting his weapons (I love too much this character, lol).

  41. Yeah, I found the same tenuous info for Elden Ring, but for Dark Souls (the game in the OP) there's pretty much nothing, so I don't really understand the panic here.

  42. I'm waiting until the release before pointing my finger, BUT, bamco already did this kind of shit: they added EAC on DB Xenoverse 2 more than one year later after its release, causing a bunch of issues with the moddig community (most issue were fixed since then), or people like myself who hated the fact that they added this bloatware after release, which to me should be illegal, and valve should forbid comoanies for doig so.

  43. To be frank, due to how the pc gaming situation has been (d)evolved since epic trying to strongarm people on their plarform, I can't truly blame them, but imho in this case the main issue is on how easily companies would rely on eac and how EOS ultmately will be pushed on more games as time passes, as we can already see from some games such as dying light 2 which unless I missed it on the steamdb, it does NOT uses steamworks at all, relying solely on EOS. This is imho why people are "pointing pitchforks" at epic, which while not the main cause in this case, they are the contributing cause.

  44. To add to what Frost said, I don't have any coding experience either. I made Ara Fell as a hobby project around 2004 with RPG Maker 2003, which

  45. Hi there, congrat to the team for both Ara fell and Rise. I would also like to further ask something originating from the previous question:
