  1. My experience has been alright, my host university is great but my support from UW has been questionable. Although, my case is a little bit unique. One thing of consideration is that if you're a UW student, you're a UW student. You can apply for programs at all 3 campuses. We had a UWB student on our UWT trip, and last year a UWT Milgard student attended a UWS Foster exchange. I hope that helps you if you're trying to find a program that best fits you.

  2. I think he’s made a great first step in the right direction. Personally, I don’t think that I will ever return to his content, and i’m willing to bet that those 70K people he lost won’t either. But maybe he’ll find a new audience that didn’t experience this. Maybe his new content will warrant their attention. But admittedly, for a former fan, it’s really difficult to wash the sour taste out of my mouth.

  3. I actually saw the door blowout photos on

  4. Stupid ass reddit mods deleted it because it was too new of news:

  5. I have all mine filed from Arc’teryx to (can’t think of a brand that starts with Z). I have found that they come in handy when selling up to get something new. Even when they’re gently loved and people know, they still feel better buying with tags.

  6. For those asking: the survey was emailed directly to my UW student email and the link is personalized for me. There isn’t any option to share the survey with others. Maybe if you poke around their website (College Pulse) you might be able to find something? But I doubt it honestly…

  7. I decided to take a look into College Pulse out of curiosity, and while there isn’t a whole lot outside of some “data driven statistical research” jargon, I noticed they often partner with some interesting publications and 501(c)(3)’s. First I found was a few listicals with the Wall Street Journal (under the News Corp/Fox News umbrella) about “Best Colleges” with some questionable picks and reasonings. The second thing I found was a collaboration with The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, or FIRE, for “College Free Speech Rankings.” From what I can tell about FIRE is that they sponsor and donate to a bunch of conservative “free speech” organizations and projects. From what I gather, this survey was politically charged to get a desired outcome and further an agenda about how colleges and their student bodies are bad for this, that, and the other.

  8. No, it’s a completely loaded email with a bunch of loaded survey questions. This is so whatever political think tank can point to college students and young people in general and say that we’re somehow the problem with america or some other agenda.

  9. Self checkout, return lockers, free online returns so people don’t have to come in to the store

  10. So Amazon, Home Depot, and Walmart. I’m confident in saying that REI will likely never implement self checkout and I’m not complaining about that. Even with the personable and kind staff they already have, hundreds of thousands of dollars already slip out that door every year. Online free returns are a farce, it’s more of subsidized free returns and not even Amazon, the king of online shopping, as found a sustainable or profitable solution. REI’s supply chain is certainly not equipped to deal with that. Not to mention how much energy it will take to send you a product, send it back, send it to a store/incinerator. I’m sorry to say but it just seems like your values don’t align with those of the cooperative. You can always take your business elsewhere. vote with your dollar so to speak.

  11. no one wants to work anymore. they rather talk with the customer about the 6 different types of gluten free donuts they tried that morning than actually get anything done. this new generation is finished

  12. you are one really weird person 🧍‍♂️

  13. AirTag + Bell case/Underseat case

  14. General member rewards are released in March. MasterCard rewards are monthly. General 10% rewards are not applicable to items on sale/discounted/clearance.

  15. that fridge makes an annoying wine 24 hours a day. Just buy a good insulated tumbler.

  16. Stanley IceFlow 64… i guess it’s 14oz too much 🤷

  17. Exchange it for another one. Let it have a second life on Apple’s refurb site. At 4k, you should have a pristine machine.

  18. Are those IKEA 365+ trays?

  19. On occasion, i’ll drive my grandmother to a store or restaurant. I’ll usually drop her off right in front of the entrance and help her get her walker out. The I’ll go park in the handicap parking because she has a tag and she may not want to wait for me to retrieve the care. I feel very awkward exiting the car and walking to the entrance. I’ll often fake a limp for that short trek incase anyone is staring 😅
