  1. Had a take on this, but you won't like it but i have to tell it cause i found it pretty interesting.

  2. Now, you remember that the Game need a Full Keyboard for being completely Playable.

  3. Only sentitive on Lower Frequency, i can't go lower than 45Hz in my LCD Deck.

  4. Modern Games will only be designed around Next-Gen Consoles, and so Target more Powerfull HW just to run.

  5. You can't replace anything using the new parts apparently.

  6. Hmmm, that's exactly what the warranty covers tho? Not outside the warranty period of course. Damages caused by the user is mostly never covered.

  7. When i said user i mean Normal usage, here, the Deck Died...because the Chip has issue, the user probably never pushed to chip to its limits.

  8. Yeah, this is covered by the warranty within the warranty period. Did you mean to say that Valve should offer an extended warranty or something?

  9. Yes, extended for HW Failure caused by the HW itself.

  10. Truly makes me wonder how it got verified, I'd consider that the bare minimum, but I know a large amount of Steam Deck users won't settle for anything less than uncapped fps and full res, with 10 hours battery life

  11. I've been eyeing this for a bit, waiting for a steeper christmas sale, is this true? If so, what percentage of the game runs poorly?

  12. I manage to lock it at 35fps and 89% of the time it keeps like that.

  13. There's a mod that lets you change the refresh rate anywhere from 30-70Hz. Useful when you can't get a consistent 40fps in some games but want higher than 30 so you can just cap it to something like 35Hz instead.

  14. Will require to have two Branch for Proton & Steam. They already don't want two branch for Proton & Steam on Steam Deck, they will never do such stuff.

  15. Finished the main Story, and din't get that Shematics for Dagger.

  16. Deck is just not powerfull enough, Series S run it at 800p UpSampled to 1440p FSR 2 at 30FPS.

  17. The phrase time bomb implies it will inevitably happen. The fact that this issue is so rare that most people have never heard of it despite the Deck being almost two years old means it's not really a time bomb. If this was a common issue, it'd be reported on more often like the ROG Ally's melty SD card flaw. Or the Deck's shittastic wifi chip, for that matter.

  18. I really think its a time bomb, my first Deck got it 6Months after receiving it, the new one don't have it right now, but i really think that it gonna happend again.

  19. I misswritted sorry, wanted to write life warranty for bad quality control.

  20. Option does not show up on Deck, and the Game Image now Flicker as hell.

  21. This game should just not be verified, too many framedrops.

  22. What's not clear in the info is the degree to which these inefficiencies affect FPS. There's no benchmarks, obv. It might all be very minor, despite looking bad at the level of code. Probably best to keep expectations in check.

  23. You'r CPU and GPU have limited Instruction per cycle, faster he do his stuff, better will be you'r FPS.

  24. If you have a computer, try to update the firmware of both the Controller and the Dongle and then ReSync Both and try using it again on the Deck.

  25. until cruise ships can fly, it's not a cruise ship. the objects in these videos, aren't near the horizon.

  26. Cause by saying that the Deck is only for Emulation means its a pretty bad Gaming PC.

  27. Hate to say it but PCs are obsolete for running AAA games. The game runs perfectly on Xbox series x no lag 60 fps. Time to upgrade my guys !😂

  28. Lol no it's not low resolution ?!? It's high graphics high resolution . Wtf are you taking about

  29. Actually 1080p is the Sweet Spot for obvious reason. Steam Deck has a Low Resolution but High PPI, High PPI is good when you'r Game tend to use MSAA and no Temporal Reconstruction, Information or anything that use Temporal Data to Reconstruct or Improve the Final Image.

  30. I know how it works, upscaling from one high-resolution to another is better because there’s more detail to derive from the image. I get that, but the whole idea of FSR is to improve performance, so you saying performance is bad simply because FSR is enabled is stupid.

  31. Its bad because You have to use FSR at a so Low Resolution that it will produce a blurry and pixelated image full of Noise and Reconstruction/Temporal Artefact.

  32. It also is 10 times the power draw. And heavy to take around with you (plus yor TV).

  33. Yeah, but do not use "Full Flat" for everything, even more where its not the case.
