  1. lol, you're delusional; does it also work when people that have been here for 100's of years suddenly have to house, medical, and feed 3m illegals per year, how about we ship another $100B to foreign wars? Society doesn't function on the gov't taking your money and providing for you, that's how we are $30T in debt, but keep voting democrat, it's clear by the success of all the democrat run cities on how great they are at being a country and functioning society. idiot. we don't need the gov't to provide, if something benefits society it will be done and people can use their money to pay for it, not steal it from everyone and get 1/10th of the benefit for 10x the cost.

  2. Your last sentence literally recreated taxes and government. “If something benefits society it will get done and people can use their money to pay fir it…” what? Lol. So is this a commune or is a capitalist going to create some benefit and charge people for it?

  3. Couldn’t be a bigger compliment coming from you lmao 🤣

  4. Keep being xenophobic, West Good, China Russia Iran Bad. Honestly I’m over this shit ; my tax dollars funding a genocidal army has been more than a breaking point; China built High speed rail connecting its country while America spent $20 trillion over two decades bogged down in foreign wars that killed 4 million innocent people in the Middle East and west Asia and North Africa.

  5. How many American owned social media companies are allowed to operate in China? Or any foreign owned social media for that matter? You speak so negatively of the “American imperialism” and “thug tactics,” yet China engages in the exact same activities.

  6. Occam's razor is that all large institutions become more corrupt over time as crooked people make it easier for crooked people to advance.

  7. Then you should probably move to the wilderness because if that’s your world view then there is literally no escape from corruption. See ya doomer.

  8. Ok sounds like its just replicating and not identifying independently. Sort of like I said

  9. Certainly feels like I’m talking to an AI right now 👍

  10. But no one that avoided the shot is getting myocarditis. Plus your logic doesn’t make sense. The vaccine doesn’t prevent any infection. So you get the jab and you increase your chance of myocarditis either way. Keep up the copium. No one who avoided the shot regrets their decision. Most who got the shot regret by the fact that only a small percentage are getting the 9th booster.

  11. Incorrect. The vaccine lessened symptoms and risks associated with getting covid. If you didn’t get vaccinated and covid, you were at higher risk of myocarditis and other severe covid symptoms.

  12. So is that how you react every time you’re wrong? You must be exhausted to be around.

  13. Mario Odyssey didn’t update the formula? What are you talking about?

  14. Kinda odd how all these crimes Trump has committed over the decades all get prosecuted in time to interfere with him running for office. I'm sure there's no connection.......🙄

  15. But he’s on trial right now for a crime he committed right before becoming an active president. This isn’t some decades old crime…

  16. Ok let's not look at the case with accusations frim the 90's. Still they had over 8 years and no charges in 2021 2022 but just in time to interfere with the election in 2024.

  17. Don’t forget that in 2021-22 there was a different AG in NY. The former AG was not interested in charging Trump. Bragg came in in 22’ and inherited the investigation. They concluded a trial for fraud committed by the Trump organization, had Cohen testify to a grand jury, and they get an indictment in March 2023.

  18. The syntax goes: “When . . . played from the Fate Deck, Jack Skellington is an Effect. . .” That’s the end of the line in determining what Jack can be when played as a Fate card. Note the “played” part. If his effect is impossible, then he was not played as an Effect, and he is instead discarded.

  19. Do you think you get obese just by eating food with flavor? Lol. It’s absolutely normal to eat flavorful foods, sauces, etc. without becoming obese. In fact, this chart shows that people suffering with obesity are still a vast minority. I can assure you that most people are eating delicious food without getting overweight because there’s a lot more to diet than “health > sauces.”

  20. It’s easily inferred by what you wrote. Be careful with how you present your points or they’ll come of pointless like this conversation 👍

  21. Yeah so I would still need to download this Zelle app, I can't just do it through my main banking app?

  22. Depends. PNC has Zelle in its app. Idk about other banks.

  23. There is no special rule. It’s a risk though it’s very unlikely. Also, he is by no means the worst character for milling the deck, but yea it would suck to have to go through again fir the Talisman.

  24. In this case, the law was already passed 60 years ago.

  25. What you say is true but you have to follow through with your approach. Dany's birthright no longer has value. This is how medieval society works. The strongest wins and the weak disappear.

  26. Sure. It’s all arbitrary to a certain extent. But if strength gives you the right to rule, then it’s unfair to be critical of Dany for displaying her strength unless you are critiquing the noble society at large. She requires strength to reclaim her right, and she does not engage in wanton destruction to achieve her goals until her attack on Kings Landing. I believe my 2 year old comment was following this reasoning to show how Dany was certainly NOT a villain from the start.

  27. I agree with you. Dany isn't the bad guy from the start. For me, she is part of this category of character who is in a very gray area. She was convinced that she was doing good, of acting for a noble and healthy cause, but she was left blinded by power, revenge and gain. She has become everything she despised and that is the beauty of her character. And let's be realistic, there are neither good nor bad guys in GRRM's works, that's what makes him interesting. They are all humans capable of good and bad actions. For me Daenerys is a hero blinded by her hatred and her desire to do good, that's what made her a Tyrant. As I said, she is very morally gray. I still think that she deserved her end and that unfortunately many fans have too "perfect" an image of her.

  28. Her downfall was not helped by the accelerated nature pf the final season. Many plot points felt forced in a way that ensured Dany would feel isolated. And, they clearly wanted to have the tortured Jon Snow ending while also being able to frame Jon’s murder of Dany as morally justified (maybe even required).

  29. Genuine question, why do they still get days off on certain christian celebrations?

  30. The only federal holiday that overlaps with a Christian holiday is Christmas. Though, depending on state, many schools might have off for other religious holidays as well.

  31. Not even easter monday and ascension and whatnot?

  32. Nope those aren’t federal holidays. A lot of school districts will schedule their Spring breaks based on when Easter falls, but it’s not a rule.

  33. The entire point of this is to fix the problem of rich people getting around income taxes. If a rich guy spends 1000x as much as you, he pays 1000x as much taxes as you, regardless of how he got that money.

  34. Right so if a wealthy person makes 1000x more than me they should be taxed 1000x more than me. But you say there are loopholes preventing that. Yet, you seem to think there wouldn’t be loopholes in a sales tax system. Do you not realize that the wealthier you are, the lower proportion of your annual income you need to spend? So while your average middle class individual is spending the majority of their income, the wealthy individual is spending more volume-wise but getting a % of income tax break because they won’t have to spend the majority of their income.

  35. Maybe I wasn't clear. The problem is the income taxed by people like Jeff Bezos is 85K/year (his Amazon salary). Yet, he gets to take out loans against that money and spend millions to live the life of a billionaire, all the while paying less taxes than me.

  36. But Bezos does already pay sales taxes on those purchases. Perhaps we would need increased luxury or use taxes on luxury products. The issue is that this sales tax increase would disproportionately affect lower income individuals.

  37. He's not critiquing their decision to retire, he's simply pointing out that a team built on their lines lost two amazing pieces of those lines, and leaders on the team, to retirement, and that it will be hard for other guys to just step in and take their places.

  38. It’s reasonable to be concerned, but the concerns seem a bit off-topic no? This is about free agent moves right? The Eagles didn’t lose these dudes to free agency. There were plenty of FA moves that the Eagles did do so maybe focus on that or don’t use this quote in this context.

  39. It's just a single quip; of course it's not going to capture everything about the Eagles off-season.

  40. Cheapest MEAL out there in fast food is probably Chipotle or Little Ceaser's. Can fill a stomach at those two for less than anywhere, frankly.

  41. Maybe your stomach is too big? Try comparing things by calories.

  42. Calorie per dollar, the Waffle House All Star or Denny's Grand Slam is probably the best value out there.

  43. Buddy, the title said 2nd. I was clarifying that it was actually not even a guarantee that we get a 2nd. You cowboys fans are dense

  44. Damn Japan really scraped their record clean in schools didn't they...."perpetrator" is a bold comment.

  45. Regardless of the actions of the Japanese government, the bombs still affected civilians in massive numbers. It was an intentionally harmful act, which means that perpetrator is an apt description of anyone involved in the creation of the bomb and execution of the attack.

  46. If Genie is in the discard pile, he is not under your control, as he is not in the realm. Only card in your realm affect your objective. Unfortunately you would not have won that game.

  47. The s&p is up 42% THIS YEAR. - you really want to throw $500k into that?

  48. All you need to do is manage your own funds, you don’t need some government mandated money prison to do it for you.

  49. I don’t know what you’re getting at really. But usually when you’re nearing retirement age you begin phasing out riskier assets so that the turns in the market don’t affect you as much. Increasing exposure to the bond market is a good way to do that.

  50. Yes indeed, I guess if I would have started my 401K back in 2009 I would have had a different take on it. It was an amazing deal with CitiGroup where the company was matching 3 to 1. I was super focused on work so I didn’t really pay too much attention to my Fidelity mail. After the market crashed they sent me a 200$ check and I was pretty upset.

  51. They must’ve had you in some pretty whacky securities to get wiped out. This sounds pretty non traditional as most 401ks only allow investment in Index funds, ETFs, and other secured vehicles. In which case, you would virtually never get wiped out by investing in these types of securities while still enjoying solid returns.

  52. So, just scanning through it, this appears to be a group of conservatives who wrote what they would like to see from the GOP. These don't appear to be operating elected officials. Why would you be concerned about a bunch of people who don't have any say on policy? Am I missing something? Could be. I'll dive in when I have some more time. I'm just flipping through it on my lunch break.

  53. It’s concerning because many of the co authors of this plan were a part of the Trump administration. Have you heard of the Heritage Foundation? One of the most influential lobbying organizations, which has had significant impacts on policies, is the publisher of Project 2025. The GOP and the Heritage Foundation are tied in a lot of ways, so this isn’t just “a group of conservatives,” rather THE most influential conservatives “think tank” in DC.

  54. Dude. This is a 1000 page document. Anything in particular I should focus on here? Have you read this thing? Good grief.

  55. If you’d rather not read the actual manifesto… you could just google the cliff notes or

  56. Me thinks it'll be the NFC East... Because it's always the NFC East.

  57. Sure. Sign me up for front row tickets to the Bake Show.
