Imo, MoM felt like a bit of wasted potential with the amount of ideas they could've explored within the Multiverse, as well as going deeper into Wanda's descent into madness (they keep chucking homegirl between playing the tragic villain or the hero). Some of the story decisions and character motivations don't help the movie either.
You summed it up nicely. Wanda bursting through every wall and door like paper and then all of a sudden one of the doors she can’t open? So many questionable decisions to manufacture tension.
Strange also spent most of the movie learning to move on from his past relationship, only for the writers to instantly throw Thea at the screen as soon as Christine was gone. Gave me some severe whiplash. Like "Here, now that that's done, we can move on to his actual lover"
Gammamon is insanely fun because of the deck's toolbox nature! Unfortunately the upcoming meta won't be very kind to it; the lack of a clear wincon and the risky use of Trainings don't do the deck any good :/
