What’s wild is the Stampede denied wrongdoing for YEARS. Meanwhile, something similar was happening in the Calgary Stampede Showband. If the Stampede truly changed after the Young Canadians incident, maybe the showband incident wouldn’t have happened. Sigh.
It used to be all wendy’s food (pre wendy’s breakfast) i def think it’s a promotional thing because Wendy’s just released their new breakfast menu not to long ago. (even tho it is trash imo). I bet next season will be back to normal where they can order anything, probably able to order breakfast or normal food. But if it is someone picking it up from just a run of the mill wendy’s don’t they stop serving breakfast at like 10am?
What is your strategy to address unemployment in Alberta, and what sectors do you see as the largest opportunity for Albertans as we continue to diversify our economy?
I was looking at apartments to rent in bridgeland and was so disappointed in the quality of the new builds. I hope they build some decent quality units with thought out floor plans.
Thanks for sharing your story and raising awareness for something that is sadly, common. I was assaulted when I was a minor by a male teacher - I wasn’t out at the time and it still causes me so much turmoil. I’m almost 30 now.
It literally happened again. The Stampede was so busy denying wrongdoing, they didn’t even realize Christian Sarile was doing the same thing in showband.
Sooo they acknowledged their failure and paid out $9.5Mil in damages and NOW they're being banned?? Can't wait for political figures to post all their pictures from them attending the parade and not walking in it....
They did do something wrong: they ignored blatant child sexual abuse that it went on for decades. Then denied wrong doing up until a year ago - when all the evidence was submitted to court.
The Stampede recently accepted full liability for knowing one of their staffers was sexually abusing children for decades, and didn’t do anything to stop it.

Haha they haven’t even paid yet. The victims continue to be dragged through legal battles.
