  1. No, get it right. Other people were in these "spaces". They are the ones that built them up. They are the ones that bought the books. They are the ones that bought the overpriced plastic.

  2. I've been here for years too, asshole. I was getting into Warhammer in the 2000s. We've always been here. You're acting like I'm an intruder.

  3. You called everyone who doesnt agree with you a nazi. Of course no one wants to put up with your garbage attitude.

  4. A lot of states require that write in candidates be registered as such and any write in for anyone (or I guess anything in this case) aren’t counted or recorded. So potentially the only person that will ever know you wrote “Gaza” would be the worker who checks and then disregards your vote. So of those choices you’re considering you’d probably be better off voting for a third party candidate who has taken a stand against Israel and their genocidal regime. Cornell West is that prof you’re talking about, Claudia de la Cruz of the Party for Socialism and Liberation would be another, and probably whoever the Greens nominate is going to be a good bet for the same.

  5. Honestly any of them would be fine. None of them are going to win anyway. I believe any numbers that go towards them will be a signal to the Democrats that those our votes they lost due to their shittiness. This is the only tool I have to discipline them. I don't want Trump to win either but they were the ones that put me in this position. Blame them.

  6. No, I'm blaming you. Like it or not, this is a two-party system - and Biden has handled Gaza incredibly better than a Trump administration would have. Don't play into the MAGA/Russia crowd's hands...

  7. The person who has the power to change the situation is Joe Biden. He has not earned my support.

  8. At this point Biden's controlled opposition. He wants to lose. That's all I can think of. He doesn't care. He's just going to do what netanyahu tells him and then Trump is going to be president. I'm not voting for him. I'm not even that young. I'm voting socialist or something like that. I'm not even voting for my senator because he voted for The TikTok ban. This is my breaking point. Genocide was the lowest possible moral standard. And he can't even live up to that. At least Trump has an opportunity to drive the American empire into complete ruin and that might make the world better.

  9. Sorry I was drawing a blank on his name. I remember he was also in The Matrix sequels. He's also got a long record of being right on a lot of things. I just couldn't remember his name for a second.

  10. This tiktok ban came from Democrats. Democrats did this. They voted for it overwhelmingly because the Israel lobby wanted it. This is entirely them. They don't believe in free speech. They say that Trump is the end of democracy. Democracy is dead already with them. They believe in free speech and democracy as long as you don't have inconvenient opinions, then you're a Russian agent or a Chinese provocateur. It's hypocrisy. I am so done. This is my breaking point. I am done I'm not giving them a dime ever again. I'm staying home or I'm voting third party.

  11. It's a real problem that the military lied. Friendly fire happens, there may not have been any kind of conspiracy there beyond baseline carelessness but the lying, which is also fairly routine, I am quite sick of. I don't think the government should be allowed to do PR or propaganda. They should have a legal obligation to either tell the truth or withhold information if it is too sensitive, but not to lie. If we are to maintain the illusion that the people are the ones ultimately in charge, the servants of the people cannot lie to them.

  12. I've gotten it too. I've seen lots of racism and bigotry that I think of as "bot friendly" go completely unpunished because they did not say an actual slur but expressed the idea a slur embodies. I said someone's racist opinion was trash and I got banned and they didn't.

  13. Fuck these guys who say no. Balls to the wall and 1d6 lasting the entirety of the spell. Those who get the grease on their bodies or armor have to spend an action getting it off or doff time.

  14. I'll be conservative and say 1d4, with an additional 1d4 if the subject is prone in a grease pool or is covered in grease for some other reason. Burning the grease uses up the remaining duration of the spell.

  15. That's fair. Alternative suggestion: The person who proposes the date and location should pay. This can easily be worked out before the date. If there is an income disparity between the partners, the second option is reasonable.

  16. I feel betrayed because while I was willing to buy it at launch, it had been my understanding based on the previous behavior of paradox studios that they would continue supporting it for years in the future releasing updates. I was not expecting them to leave the game as it was in it's incomplete state.

  17. Ngl, Heinlein’s politics were weird. He wasn’t a Leftist at all but his book definitely wasn’t Fascist. It was definitely authoritarian, human imperialist and militaristic and ran on a meritocracy where the leaders weren’t permanent or long term.

  18. If you've read his other work, a stranger in a strange land, he's a massive hypocrite.

  19. I think he was just a pretentious dirty old man who changed his political stance all the time and thought it was wisdom

  20. Heinlein was a pretentious dirty old man that changed his political views frequently

  21. I don't know either the doylist or the watsonian reason but I would assume it's because it's ridiculous

  22. I don't know if it will be "forever" forever but it might be as persistent as WoW. Maybe even The Simpsons.

  23. Where are you from? I'm sorry to hear you couldn't find a good KoW community :,(

  24. Chicago. I am told there is one out in Schamberg but I don't have a car and can only go where the CTA buses and trains go. Dice Dojo does not sell Kings of War.

  25. No one knows, and by now GW is the only company out there that deliberately kills off their games to revive them slightly different later or not at all

  26. yeah its a bit like the Firefly effect in that Fox canceled shows so often and betrayed their audience that audiences are afraid to get too attached to new shows because the network might just cancel it. That is also how I feel about GW. They rug pull and betray their fans. The work these armies take is immense. Also the game itself is bad and most design decisions seem to revolve less around making a good game and more about getting people to buy the models and leaning on their monopoly and the network effect to ensure other better games do not get shelf space or table space at game stores.

  27. Germans certainly would be familiar with being complicit in a genocide. They aren't doing it themselves this time but the certainly are parties and complict.
