  1. Meh, Generals are just upper management.

  2. Whatever you do, don’t bring her along to meet your instructor.

  3. Ok, let’s hear it. Who were these shysters who jumped straight to $250 shafts without even having you try a cheaper option? They deserve to be named.

  4. When I was in, day shift was 0700-1630. Night shift was ‘officially’ 1600-0130. But it was ‘really” from 1600 until whenever we had enough airplanes ready for the flight schedule. That sometimes meant working until day shift came back in again. I wouldn’t say this was the norm……but it happened a lot. Of course, there were rare occasions when we had enough planes ready by 2200, and started cutting people loose for the night.. But a typical night shift ended around 0200-0300.

  5. I left the hi side for this very reason.

  6. I made the same sort of bench.

  7. Guys like this know they are never going to amount to shit, and are at peace that they’ll live a life of insignificance or incarceration.

  8. Caddy should have walked over and said “hey fucko… how would you like it if I came to your job at the dollar store and started talking shit while you were tryng to work? Go blow yourself!”

  9. Where is Steve Williams when we need him.

  10. Right. In the good ole days, being a ‘goon’ was one of a caddy’s job duties.

  11. Limiting what may get thrown on the green if the crowd gets amped up after a shot

  12. It would be exceedingly hard to throw a giant stack of plastic cups on the green from the stands.

  13. Newsflash- company considers all feasible options ahead of making a decision.

  14. If you like the way the AP2s feel and perform, I don’t think it would be crazy to take them to a clubmaker and tweak them to your specs. This is assuming the irons are in good shape. If so, there’s no reason they won’t last for years.

  15. I looked at the C130 and Ogio. Both looked good to me. I could have been happy enough with either.

  16. Pfft. I’m rather enjoying getting a decent rate in my HYSA.

  17. Get a 14 way bag. Designate the front row for your wedges. If something is missing, you’ll notice that one of the slots is empty.

  18. Once I’m convinced they won’t see the light of day, I either sell them at a firesale price or throw them in the trash.

  19. Meh. Knocking on your door after 10 years doesn’t feel like ‘harassment’ or anything like that. It’s not outrageous that a father might want to take a shot at reconciliation. (It’s also not outrageous that you don’t want to see him….Im sure you have your reasons, and you have a right to boundaries).

  20. Not going to go into further detail about your opinion on my situation, but how about the employment question? Will it hurt his current job and job prospects?

  21. It might. They ask about police interactions.

  22. I’m going to counter from another financial perspective. Getting a new vehicle, with a $500 monthly payment is roughly $6k a year. So if $2,500 is all that is needed then it’s still cheaper than $6k a year for a new car. And the car looks great.

  23. Yeah, that can be a valid school of thought.

  24. The choice isn’t limited to fixing a jalopy, or buying a $40,000 car.

  25. Am I the only one who doesn’t like the idea of needing a ‘closer’ to land personnel?

  26. I think the idea that Magic functions as some ‘closer’ is moreso a joke that us fans run with. It’s obviously impossible to know what these processes actually look like though

  27. True. Magic might have sent him a text, and not much more.

  28. I mean... that's an entirely different case to be fair.

  29. My guess is that the Lions offered him a substantial raise to stay on for another year. But one of the conditions was that he sign the dotted line and stop taking interviews. “We’ll double your salary….but this needs to be locked in, now”.

  30. lol. I was just talking about this yesterday. Motherfuckers get the lowest deductible they can, then call Farmers every time a window breaks or they get a minor roof leak.

  31. I’ve never received a window THAT wide before.

  32. I notice that on TV when they show the pros warming up those guys usually do a concentrated pattern. Which leads to every guy at my club doing the same thing because of course the pros do it too...

  33. On really high end courses, they might want it that way. Those courses often have donor turf nurseries where they will transplant new grass into ‘concentrated’ areas.
