All we asked was for it to be turned down to an acceptable level. It was placed for security due to homeless making camps within our Freight Entry area and using it a a group restroom. Originally placards were placed saying no trespassing and within 2 days there was a revolt, the signs were ripped down and used to smear feces on the garage door while another ejaculated into a condom and wrapped it over the door handle. So, enter the motion sensor of death. It has definitely curbed the issues but even we say "at what cost"? We hate it. Neighbors hate it. Now Reddit hates it. I'm surprised the Governor hasnt had it taken down as a nuisance.

I left my abusive ex and got my own apartment in March of 2020. Everything was shut down and it was near impossible to get furniture. As I sat in that empty apartment completely overwhelmed and relieved, sleeping on a $100 foldable futon from Walmart, hearing the echos of my own snores, I couldn’t help but think, damn if only I had some st.pat’s decor.
Warms my heart to see photos of people laughing and smiling from this era. I hope their descendants have this and others in their home(s) somewhere today.

I went in for regular service once and it was taking HOURS. I asked the guy why and he said it was because of a rush due to SXSW. I said OH OF COURSE YES ALL OF THE MUSICIANS AND TOURISTS NEED OIL CHANGES TODAY. Dude was not happy but what a weird excuse.
I watched this on a long international flight not knowing what I was getting myself into. So yeah I was sobbing to myself trying not to wake the stranger next to me 🤣. Highly recommend!
I'm an engineer for aerospace components. It's just something I know from being in the industry, that's literally this post's prompt. My colleagues specifically avoid airlines like that, and this is one of the reasons why.

Most big US companies can employ people in Canada without issue. Canada has affordable health care and higher education. I’m not Canadian but I don’t think they want it to be that easy for us Americans to just head up there. And the “violent people everywhere” argument holds no water when the US has more mass shootings no matter how you try to quantify the data.

Also the US has similar in state tuition and sometimes cheaper than Canada, and from the research I’ve been doing over the last few days it seems like Canadian healthcare is a mess and inaccessible. And the US offers better pay and better career prospects with more affordable housing. Your argument is overblown and many more Canadians move to the US than Americans move to Canada, despite the fact there’s x10 times more Americans than Canadians, if the US is as undesirable as you say it wouldn’t be this way even though moving to Canada is easier than the US by the way. The US has its issues but offers better career prospects and much better pay hence why it is desirable for Canadians to move here and outside of Reddit no omen
