IMAX Melbourne is showing Dune 2 till the 6th of may currently, with possible extensions to come. It’s still selling many tickets each day. It’s great, why should they shorten it when so many still want to watch it? There’s plenty of time to show other movies like Civil War and Godzilla.
I suppose it depends on the severity and type of CVD, and the country where you are from. In the UK it used to be a massive issue but not so much any more.

Runs fine for me apart from in Blight Town where there are of texture issues. Mine stutters infrequently, never enough to really notice it. My settings are DXVK on and High resolution mode on. In game settings I have 1920x1080 full screen, VSYNC on and highest possible settings.
Interesting, i might try turning high res mode on just for trial and error. What machine are you playing on? Also, in Crossover I’m enabling DXVK etc in the settings for the Steam app, since that’s what I open DS through. Is this how you have it, or is DS a seperate app on Crossover?
Islands all have a pretty tight amount of gems on them, most of the time you have to progress to island 3 or 4 while saving all your gems, then return to earlier islands to afford everything
i suspect it’s just related to the rerelease they are calling gold edition. they probably rebased mac version to same gold edition code and slapped generic change log on it. thus why full redownload
Because sounds like keyboard strokes are sudden, random and not very loud. It needs to be something more constant like a train or a louder public space with a lot of buzz
You’d only notice such a difference if there’s a constant loudish noise in the background that it’ll steadily lower. If there’s nothing like that, you’ll hear normal noises just fine
It doesn't keep them open forever, mine has to reload tabs after a day or so. This is after sleeping the laptop however, so that might force close them
A workaround for me was to select all photos using [command] + [a], then right-click any photo and select [Play Slideshow] from the menu options. It hasn't completed yet as there is over 5000 items, however it is working and I finally see the number going down at the bottom.
I found a temporary workaround to download originals, at least on macOS. If you export unmodified original photos it will force the download to your library so that they can be exported, not the best I know but it works as Apple is working on a solution.
Another option is to "Select all photos using [command] + [a], then right-click any photo and select [Play Slideshow] from the menu options. For me, all the originals that were stuck at downloading were forced to complete."

Please take the lens protector off, the phone doesn’t need it at all and it will impact photo quality

I agree with you completely. Even with me on the latest firmware, the difference between adaptive and transparency is very little.

Having same problem on a new Mac running Sonoma 14.2 and now 14.2.1. Download Originals is turned on in Photos but it simply never downloads.
