You'll also be able to see it. I've seen such prices in lacs thrice now during last 1-2 years for different hotels. But the max was in 2L range. This is the first time I saw it so high, so posted it here :)
Weekdays will be good, but you'd have to pass through office traffic while coming back (I'd recommend going early morning before sunrise. Just after sunrise, at this time of the year, you'll get a beautiful view with low clouds).

They will wear down with use. Trying to maintain it will be a pain in the ass. Just scrub down with a liquid soap but buy the brands for quality/warranty.
