  1. The perceived realness in their reactions and script. GF is ... so obviously fake that it becomes painful to watch. Something now happens multiple times per episode (lights turn on and off, they get responses, whispers, shadows, sounds, etc) and Ryan barely reacts when he was scared out of his mind previously in Unsolved. Obvious staged events have made it difficult to buy into and continue with the previous dynamic everyone was used to.

  2. I read the books a long time ago, but I was under the impression that Jessica only tried to have a girl at the last moment in the hopes that the BG will let Leto and Paul live and abandon their assassination plans. Not because she wanted a girl or another child, but because her refusal for a daughter was bringing her family's end. That coupled with Alia's abomination put the final nail in the coffin for J to never bond with her daughter.

  3. Aha - I wish the agent had explained that it’s normal to do it last day of the month. If I’d known that I wouldn’t have tried to negotiate.

  4. It's simple. They want to sell it as fast as possible and not pay any more utilities or costs associated with it.

  5. Girl. You should've done something about it the moment she stopped answering your calls that Tuesday and took off with your car. Wtf?!!

  6. Girl spent like what? 2-3 months living with this guy and bolted? He has to be a nightmare to live with and I shudder thinking how bad his cleaning skills must be.

  7. I was surprised nobody recommended him and it's not higher up. Dude is great and his content reminds me of the old BU videos.

  8. You were valid for not wanting to cancel pre-existing plans because your boyfriend asked you out last minute. It doesn't matter who the plans were with, it's a rude thing to do to someone.

  9. See, I read it the other way around. She already had plans with the bf, but cancelled in favour of her father. Considering how a lot of the comments are asking and implying the same thing and she is not answering, my guess is that the date plans were before her plans with the father.

  10. Unii strang banii ca sa plece in city breaks dar au grija cat cheltuiesc in rest, altii dau banii pe rate la BMW-uri sau apartamente, altii dau banii pe take-out in fiecare zi si iesit in oras. Depinde ce prioritati ai.

  11. Dude.... Good luck finding a job in the future. Word goes around and you sound like a huge liability for any team. Lesser members of the team? Are you for real? You need to take your head out of your behind if you even want to have a shot of ever working in any full-scale dev team.

  12. My brother in Christ, the only thing we want when we go shopping is to ...you know, shop. Not be approached by random creeps who saw us for 3 seconds, leered, and want to have s*x with us. I am baffled by your belief that this approach will bring you more casual ...uhm... connections, because let me tell you, the only thing it will maybe bring you is a ban from the store.

  13. I am going with YTA, based on very important details OP omitted in the main post, probably because if he had written them the judgement would have been different.

  14. Where are you from? If you're not from the EU, you won't get a work permit on your own and finding a job is going to be harder as it will be on the company to facilitate you getting you.

  15. SSSB is great and cheap.... if you manage to get a room (beware, they are unfurnished). You need a lot of days in the queue to get your own apt with a kitchen and/or in a more central area. Since you are not a member of the student union yet, your days are capped at 90 I believe. Which, if you are very lucky, would be enough to get a corridor room around Lappis or one of the very down south areas.

  16. Competitive in which way? If you mean that admission is competitive then yes.

  17. Are you gonna be actually employed by anyone or are you doing an internship as part of your studies that is paid by an external organisation or grant?

  18. This is an important question. Something else to ask is: is OP hired directly by the company, or by an external subcontractor in another country. Basically, is his contract with a Swedish entity or with a foreign one? Because if this is a foreign assignment placement type of thing, the rules from the country the contract was signed in might apply, not the Swedish ones.

  19. It depends a lot on your contract. It sounds a lot like you were hired to work for the company, but not hired by the company themselves, but by a subcontractor. Am I right? And if the subcontractor is not from Sweden and your signed contract is not with a Swedish entity, different rules could apply.

  20. With the risk of getting downvoted on a clearly rage bait post, it doesn't sound like either his wife or his mother want to leave any room to celebrate both on the same day. It's either their way or the highway. Did your wife propose a compromise, or did she just expect to only celebrate her son? Was there any discussion?

  21. FYI, since you're from the EU, KTH will offer no help with accommodation. They only do that with non-EU fee-paying students. So you're on your own.

  22. MAJOR YTA . So, OP basically stole her code, paid a tutor to translate it in another language and finish it because he wasn't capable to do his part, claimed he did it 100% and now thinks he's the victim.

  23. I've had Lyca for almost 3 years, since before they were also asking for a PN and I didn't have any significant issues in Stockholm or the Baltics. But I went to Italy this winter and even though I was supposed to have roaming, it just didn't work. After that I was thinking of jumping ship to another supplier, but the prices just don't compare... Lyca is net superior in their offers for their price point.

  24. I don't know why people are saying it's rude to ignore somebody when they are knocking on their door. Listen, these days it can be really unsafe to answer when unexpected strangers are knocking, especially when you live alone. The fact that when your neighbour didn't answer you felt the need to look through his/her window and try to grab their attention only amps up the creep factor. Get the hint: they didn't answer so go away. It doesn't matter their reasoning, you were unexpected and frankly they don't know you. I am saying this as a woman who lived in student accommodation with 10-12 other people. We created a group chat for people to join if they wanted (some did, others didn't) and we had international evenings when we all cooked food so we get to know eachother.

  25. To my knowledge there aren't really any more scholarship programs than the ones mentioned because schooling is free for Swedish/EU students and there is CSN. They have little interest in creating/subsidising more scholarships for internationals since the selection pool is big and it probably wouldn't make sense financially for them to do so.
