He was so happy when chuck agreed to work with him on the Sandpipper case. All that to be betrayed by Chuck. Imagine learning that your brother, who you thought he would always have your back, is the one who kept sabotaging you all along. After Chuck's betrayal, Jimmy stopped caring about what other people would think about him and embraced the Slippin' Jimmy side.
I suspect that Jimmy at HHM would go about as well as Jimmy at Davis and Main. Jimmy is always looking for shortcuts and has always been ethically challenged.
