  1. I disagree, Saint john has much more of a city feel when you are uptown compared to monctons downtown

  2. Except if you get on the wrong highway on ramp and have to drive to Hampton or Musquash to get turned around.

  3. Every salary (divided into ranges) paid by taxpayers, over $60k/year, has to be listed, with employee names, on the publicly accessible GNB websites. Don't hijack this into a nurse issue, when clearly it is not about them. The executives of the redundant health systems are paid more than Outhouse.

  4. You are 100% correct. We like to shit on the ministers constantly but senior public servants can cause a lot of damage as well - and the worst part is that they are not elected officials. We were stuck with Tom McFarlane at DNR for, what, 20 years? Friggin Irving puppet...

  5. Higgs went from a tolerable guy to a complete goober. It's sad to see him being the worst premier in the country too.

  6. As long as I've known about him, I've not had much tolerance. As a francophone (or I guess not rich, not old, or Protestant) I dont really feel like he's ever had much tolerance for people like me. He can fuck right off, and when he gets there, fuck off some more. If there was really a loving god, the IWK would be empty, and assholes like this would be six feet under ground.

  7. I want Jill Green and Andrea Anderson-Mason to quit so bad...

  8. I read this story, and it made me hate that fucker (Higgy Baby) even more. Condolences to the families involved.

  9. The Irving’s donate equally to both the PCs and to the Liberals for a reason.

  10. Not actually liked from a social media perspective is the key point many are missing

  11. When PP becomes PM, and he will, I hope everyone enjoys the extra few bucks they save by repealing the Carbon Tax, while they watch whole neighbourhoods burn down in massive wildfires. Or their car is swept away in flash floods. Or their house is destroyed in one of our now common hurricanes. The PCs just want to go back to wide-open oil production and suckling at the teat of Alberta. At least the Liberals are trying to do something.

  12. And when these countries say, "we had a deal, and you didn't hold up your end of it", then slap tariffs on our goods, what's PP going to do about it?

  13. People who make disliking a politician their whole personality are fucking bizarre.

  14. Given that unless we are rich and embrace 1950's social norms, Higgy Baby's presence is felt by all New Brunswickers. Every day.

  15. Nope. Most of these immigrants serve a useful role in our communities. Higgs only serves a useful role on the Irving org chart.

  16. You mean the entire province can’t be administered through Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton 😱

  17. And preferably Fredericton with the thought center In a certain religious building in Southern NB.

  18. I'm just going to use my welding masks, come over if you want a turn

  19. Make sure the glass it at least a verifiable #13, 14 is better. Anything less than this on a long duration event like an eclipse will result in a nasty flash.

  20. You'll get a license for 550cc and down. Nothing wrong with that at all. Good luck, and enjoy the R-E! I've been on two wheels longer than I can remember so 45 or so years, and if you told me I could never ride anything larger than 550cc, I could find dozens of bikes that would make me perfectly happy...

  21. I just want to get a KLR650 and didn’t want to buy one and have to wait for the test

  22. Ah the KLR. A lifetime bike, unless you have aspirations of something else later. People either run th3 for a year and move them along, or keep them forever. Unless you want to do off road stuff and this is not the best tool for this, at 425+ lbs, a CB500X would be a better choice, if you can find one.

  23. If they want to use the notwithstanding clause to remove people's rights, they should start at the top and make it illegal to be a member of a 1% MC like the Bacchus, Hells Angels, Red Devils, Outlaws, Black Pistons, and any other criminal organization in the province. Criminalizing those on the lowest end of the supply chain will have little to no effect whatsoever. Robin from Minto just got busted with 125 kg of crystal methamphetamine in Ontario. He was the head of the Hells Angels in NB. You don't think it would be more cost effective to go after his associates. Making it illegal to be part of an OMC would be a much better use of the notwithstanding clause, if you really want to go down that road. They are a greater threat to public safety than the end user.

  24. Shhh. They're not looking for any kind of solution that passes anything more than extremely light scrutiny. Just enough to make their base cheer. Axe the tax! Build the homes! Fix the budget! Stop the crime! Common sense!

  25. What a pathetic fucking shit stain of a person. How can he live with himself being such an asshole?

  26. Are you asking for a link to the article you are commenting on? Try clicking at the top of the page lol

  27. Worst case, try and find #14 welders glass. Some say you can get away with #13, but for looking at the Sun for a long time, I'd play it safe.

  28. At that point just drive through it.

  29. Exactement. In Québec, at least they have a little countdown timer, so that at least you can keep track. We don't see them here. Must cost an extra $600 on a $30k set of lights.

  30. No they do not. Coon may have been good when he started but now he's just another politician and his MLAs are far from strong.

  31. Kevin Arsenault ann Megan Milton not strong? They are extremely strong. They just aren't sleazy or patronizing. A refreshing change really.

  32. Sherry Wilson won the nomination in Holland's riding, Albert-Riverview.

  33. Yall need help fighting over this. Would you have a problem if it was an old Corolla that did this instead?
