  1. wait wtf recreational marijuana was illegal in berlin until now?? as an american i always thought berlin legalized this a long time ago. why was it so prolonged?

  2. Regarding major cities (New York, LA, San Fran etc), I was in awe for the first few moments but the novelty wore off very quick.

  3. I can totally see that. The grand canyon's sheer magnitude has the ability to humble anyone. I hope you get a chance to see many of the other amazing national parks in the US!

  4. is the episode title a Sopranos reference?

  5. im chillin at a bus stop just watching the snow fall

  6. Hope you aren't waiting for a bus in Olympia at 1 in the morning.

  7. nope just decided to go for a late night stroll

  8. Some bands here and there! Venues looking like: Barboza, tractor tavern, Neptune theatre, Showbox sodo, the crocodile

  9. would love to join you for some shows. dont have a car so always looking to carpool/amtrak buddy.

  10. I moved here a couple years ago from the most diverse city in the country, which has like 8,000,000 people. Oly is white as fuck compared to Houston, so I’m just not really able to give an honest reference to how this place would compare locally.

  11. Hello Berliners, I visited Berlin for the first time this summer and absolutely loved it. I plan on visiting again soon (Feb 2024). I just want to know if end of Feb which is an opening weekend for March is a good time to visit. Apart from the usual touristy things, I come for the rave culture and kink parties happening around the city. So yeah just want to know if that’s a good time of the month to visit. I know there’s Berlin Film Festival happening in Feb as well but I don’t think I will be able to make it during those dates. So please any suggestions or tips are appreciated. Danke schon!

  12. hi did you ever find more information on your inquiry? I, too, am traveling to Berlin in late February! Im wondering if it would be so cold that people wont be at bars/clubs

  13. I've lived in Houston for 15 years and I don't ever remember seeing that much green around the city.

  14. It’s fun! What else do you need? Don’t over analyze this one. It gets really wild and crazy.

  15. this ^ if you're a night prowler, you will really resonate with it

  16. Im excited to finally see for myself. I've only ever heard great things.

  17. I have seen Decline of Western Civilization which kinda feels like a documentary and Instrument (Fugazi documentary) maybe a few more I cant think of. Any you suggest?

  18. You’re gonna get crucified but that’s a good take

  19. I thought this was a common take? I love Godard but I think even those of us who love Godard understood the disdain lol

  20. Nice of you to take it out for a walk. Maybe tomorrow you can go for ice cream.

  21. i just watched this last night! very insightful and love the kid's passion. I wish my parents were cool enough to introduce me to Fugazi at such a young age 😂

  22. welles is literally the goat and weirdly slept on. Everyone knows him but I wish he got more praise outside of CK

  23. Wolf of wall street was sugar coated, superficial and made to appeal to a younger audience. Felt kinda immature and for the meme culture. I hated it, it felt too entertaining ti be taken seriously. Sorry i said it. Silence is great, but overlooked, and will continue to stay that way unfortunately. Also Irishman is a late career masterpiece but felt like it drag whereas flower moon is long but time flew. He took old stock photos of the osage and turned it into a moving picture in real time. That was mindblowing.

  24. surprised you got downvoted that heavily lol wasn't aware that many people enjoyed wolf on wall street 😂 if it means anything OP i agree with your sentiment
