I’m in a retirement community. I once checked out a Mercedes SUV in one of our village parks after closing. I found an 88 year old man trying to get back into his pants, a 22 year old young lady putting her bra back on and a bottle of cialis on the dash.
I remember being a baby rookie, years ago, with my fancy rite in the rain pens and matching pad… if your department gives you free shit, use the free shit. Ours does. If not, use whatever you can buy in bulk. Pens disappear in patrol cars like honest people in congress.
Clovis PD has take home cars for sure. Did a ride along with them and the officer I was riding with said they have take homes. 👍 Sanger I'm not too sure.
Twenty years ago when I was working about 45 minutes from SF my ancient sergeant was telling me how SFPD used to keep bottles of booze in these. Seeing my skepticism he said, “Let’s go, you’re driving.” We drove into the city and he made me check them with a key he still had. It took us about 6 boxes before we found the Jameson.
Depends on the state and the laws. Where I grew up in Massachusetts the State Police had jurisdiction for any homicide in the State IF the city didn't already have an established homicide unit. So, Boston, Worcester, Springfield etc work their own homicides. Smaller and mid sized towns don't.
Dumb
Trooper Byrd should be the recruiter.

I believe most of the agencies in Fresno County allow take homes. Orange County is a definite no for marked units.
I’ve looked on Clovis and Sangar PD websites no mention of take home cars…

Is SBI apart of the state police or it’s a completely separate agency?
Part of the State Police. As far as I know, I think ABI (Alaska Bureau of Investigations) only employees Trooper Investigators.
Check your PMs.
How do you feel about the color green and the great outdoors?
What are the chances of being stationed at the northern border?
Maybe not high for the Green Team, but the Blue Team has plenty of vacancies on the Northern Border.
Are CBP attached to the airports or the entry points at the border?
I’ve found that flan is not very popular with Americans.
Don't they sell it at Costco?
My dad was 52 when he finished the academy
