  1. Ask your pharmacy for an empty pill bottle next time you're there. Open blisters, empty into bottle. Much easier.

  2. there are other ways to teach children that words & actions have consequences without hurting them, so i’d consider soap in the mouth abusive. if i had a client come in and disclose that their caregiver was doing this id make a report to children& youth services

  3. Homie hasnt even heard of essential oils or pain relieving candles yet smh my head my head. Or even worse, 'have you prayed recently?'

  4. I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but if you aren’t, I do see a chiropractor 2x a month and I swear it helps me! I get pinched nerves in my neck/shoulders if I don’t go which turn into migraines 😭.

  5. chiropractors are mad dangerous especially when they’re making adjustments to your neck. some people say they get relief, but i don’t think it’s worth the risk of a dissection, ruptured discs, stroke, or worsening pain

  6. ticket master you can buy certain tickets without needing an early access code. but pit tickets are fucking $250 😭

  7. ajovy is actually associated with reduced anxiety & depression symptoms. but CGRP inhibitors can increase heart rate which may be contributing to the anxiety, but not likely depression

  8. Thank you. I prob don’t know the difference between anxiety and depression and am experiencing only anxiety. I’ll be talking to my doctor but would you stay on Ajovy and try to treat the increase heart rate?

  9. i think it’s definitely the doctors call. i know it’s a holiday weekend which makes it hard but if you can try and get in contact with the doctor before your next injection is due i think that would be your best bet!

  10. can concur about the ajovy. i’m on my 10th month of ajovy and after it changed my life for 9 months i’m now back to 20 days a month. med ideas - DHE, Vyepti, Zavzpret, Reyvow

  11. just a thought - aimovig and ajovy are in the same drug class. both are CGRP antagonists. honestly i’d ask your neurologist why they think ajovy will be fine after the scary experience you had with aimovig ???

  12. Reglan does this to me, and i just list it as an allergy now because i refuse to experience that again

  13. I have the unitronic intake on my jetta & it’s stage 1+ tuned as well. Just the little bump of power I wanted. The BOV isn’t going to do much for you & personally i wouldn’t waste money on it. If you want a little more power, get a downpipe and go stage 2 instead

  14. Definitely time for parents to have a conversation with him regardless of whether abuse has taken place or not. If you’re concerned you could also make an anonymous report to child services

  15. Sometimes I get worried about clients when they suddenly get better (can be a warning side of suicide), so I can understand his concern. Personally i’d ask him what specific behaviors led him to ask that. Might help put the pieces together a little bit better. Aside from that, DBT is amazing for people with SI, poor emotional regulation, & a history of selfharm. Wondering if you see a psychiatrist at all?

  16. he’s also a psychiatrist! he does have me on lamictal(been on for awhile), 0.1 clonidine for sleep, and as of last week ish 2mg Valium but I only take it when absolutely necessary. that makes sense about that being a warning sign, I’ve been aware of that myself. I don’t have any plans to do it I just suddenly felt so much better

  17. Seems like he’s been a really good support person for you. While I can’t speak for everybody, the reason I chose this field is because I want to listen, and i want to help people reach their goals, & I genuinely care for all of my clients. I can’t imagine this being a job people choose unless their heart is in it :)

  18. I would stop taking it if you’re having thoughts about harming yourself or others, otherwise wait for doctor approval so they can monitor you coming off of it. The side effects kicked my ass too - I took lamictal for 7 days total and it made me literally want to die. I was uncontrollable sobbing for hours at a time for no reason.

  19. medical cannabis changed my life. medical grade is much more potent than street shit and you might get different, maybe more helpful, effects. usually indica is better for pain, but if you get a medical marijuana cert they can recommend specific strains for you to start off with

  20. I hated propranolol. Made me tired and depressed. I take ajovy now for prevention and it has saved my life. It sucks they make people jump through so many hoops to get insurance to approve it tho

  21. Propranolol is a preventative that takes time to work. Did you get a medication for acute treatment?

  22. Wondering if youve tried ketamine or vyepti? Trying to think of some last resort options. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, please don’t give up

  23. I totally understand the frustration. It gets old and when your quality of life suffers it feels like there’s no point but please don’t give up! Just curious have you tried cannabis at all? It’s my only reliable pain relief. Also have you done ketamine infusions? I know that can be more potent than the nasal sprays.

  24. How long before Ajovy kicked in and worked?

  25. I really started to see a difference after the third injection/3 month mark

  26. Glad it worked for you! Bet it’s life changing!! Had my 3rd few weeks back and still no good … hoping so hard for it hey!! Neuro is looking at Botox now😟

  27. I have heard some great stories about botox. I’ve also heard others say that if one CGRP injection doesn’t work, others like emgality, aimovig, etc have worked. Don’t give up!!
