  1. Sweet Baby Incorporated, a consultation company some game designers are bringing onboard to give sensitivity reviews of their games and offer suggestions and/or point out areas that might cause problems down the line. The devs are then free to accept or reject any suggestions they make.

  2. To give an example, the “Hard R” from Stellar Blade is the kind of thing that a company like SBI would be looking for and hopefully catch.

  3. Wait, which one? The racial one or the disability one?

  4. The racial one. "Hard R" (outside of movie ratings) is slang to refer to using a certain word ending with -er instead of -a. Now, given that this is a game by a Korean studio it's most likely entirely accidental, but this is a perfect example of why outside consultancy groups like SBI are important when releasing a game in another country.

  5. The salsa acting like gas is my fav part.

  6. I wouldn't have known there was shovelware in them if you hadn't mentioned it. Except maybe My Little Pony but I don't know if it's shovelware or if it takes 20 hours to clear.

  7. It’s not shovelware, it’s a game designed for kids. That’s a huge difference, and people need to stop using “shovelware” as shorthand for short and easy, because that’s not what shovelware is.

  8. I laugh every time "Conservatives" bash Obamacare, like he didn't straight up lift it from Romney Care and make it a National Level thing.

  9. Not to mention some of the worst aspects of the ACA were compromises the GOP wanted (who turned around and tried to kill it anyways).

  10. A lot of the things that are good about Biden are the stuff that you'll never hear about because they're small and not very interesting despite helping lots of people.

  14. Ooh, thank you for the recommendation! On which platform donyou think it’s better to start? I saw it has a manga, tv series and anime!

  15. FOTNS is a classic to be sure, but I've heard it becomes redundant. I haven't read it myself, but I'm curious as to your opinion on the matter.

  16. As far as I'm concerned, it's a must read. It's one of the most influential manga of all time, inspiring everything from Berserk to Mortal Kombat to Double Dragon. And it still holds up today.

  17. Thank you for including the sound and not editing it out with a dumb song or just silence. You are the hero we need.

  18. I literally don't believe it's possible to predict Y2's ending at ALL. it's like 4 different completely unrelated twists.

  19. Like when it was revealed that Haruka was actually Kiryu’s sled from when he was a boy.

  20. I didn't know the FG bit was a reference to anything. I took your advice and did a search; the top result was a YouTube compilation of the commercials. The top comment? A reference to this Family Guy bit.

  21. Fun fact: the commercials were done by Aardman Animations (aka the folks behind “Wallace and Gromit” and “Chicken Run”), and was similar in premise to their film and TV series

  22. Creature Comforts is possibly the most British television show of all time. I love it.

  23. It’s a great show. For those who have never seen it, the full episodes can be watched legally on YouTube:

  24. If he’s into weight lifting, he might enjoy the manga

  25. For those unaware, Luffy, Ace, and Sabo became friends and sworn brothers as kids, only for Luffy and Ace to believe Sabo was dead after being blown up by a World Noble because his ship got in his way.
