  1. Why would they choose Red if they were the ā€œonly squadron on standbyā€ but then call Blue for a QRF if they werenā€™t on standby? I donā€™t know why it seems like Blue got a support role a lot. I guess just different wars have different ā€œAll Starā€ squadrons, Red was the All Star for the GWOT šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

  2. No, definitely not. Red was the one who had fame because of big books and operations, but we have units that had more impact on GWOT

  3. I clearly meant that Red shined within DEVGRU during the GWOT, obviously Iā€™m not saying they carried the GWOT on their back.

  4. I thought Rob used to say the point man pushed two women against the wall? Was one of those women not Amal? Sounds like heā€™s changing his story:

  5. Blue Squadron is known to ride motorcycles, of course they have a motorcycle on there šŸ˜‚

  6. 4th slide blue suit, even with the face blur he looks like Super Man/ Clark Kent šŸ˜‚

  7. You made a post about it. You do care. My advice would be stop wasting your days. Stop ticktock and other media. Spend time pursuing a purpose.

  8. Iā€™m 18, almost 19, and itā€™s called apathy. I wonā€™t write the essay it requires, but my life from family, to personal, has been a disaster. Iā€™m done, Iā€™m just burnt out. I donā€™t give a shit about anything, if I cared enough; I would be suicidal, but itā€™s past that. Iā€™m in a hole and nothing will change until I find the energy to continue. Iā€™m taking a break and thatā€™s fine. You canā€™t just force something thatā€™s not there, I need time. I know itā€™s pathetic, every day I feel horrible over it but itā€™s just too much.

  9. All you downvoting are pussies, this guy is in a SMU and obviously out of shape and overweight, no excuse.

  10. By his eulogy, if you werenā€™t a D1 wrestler, cross country runner, gang banger, or getting into fights; BUD/S is not for you mmkaayyy. Itā€™s a insane take. Say what you want about Rob Oā€™Neil or DJ Shipley, but they both made it without any of those. DJ was 17 for Godā€™s sake and Rob was a high-school basketball player that couldnā€™t even swim šŸ˜‚

  11. It's not a particularly great realization. There is a reason why relationships are called commitments. There isn't a lot of social good to be had by encouraging peopele to be arbitrary and capricious in regard to relationships.

  12. Itā€™s insane you got downvoted for speaking facts. These women are the reason 80% of men today are single, the idea of actually fixing problems in a relationship because itā€™s the right thing to do is unheard of to them. They just expect to find a relationship where nothing bad ever happens, shit will just be perfect and when one struggle occurs; they leave. Disney princess programming has left the majority of women fundamentally un-wife-able.

  13. Well sure. I guess I was thinking more of situations in which youā€™re just not happy. Your partner hasnā€™t done anything wrong per se, but youā€™re still miserable. Or your partner is actually just a jerk, but in subtle ways that wouldnā€™t alienate and push you out of the relationship.

  14. Usually when you have minor problems in a relationship; you work on them together and fix them for the better, you donā€™t just leave because theyā€™re ā€œa jerk in subtle waysā€. You talk about it, and fix it, if they canā€™t then you leave. Itā€™s a commitment, but ā€œDisney princess programmingā€ has rendered most of this generation fundamentally un-wife-able. Youā€™re evidence for that, your take on relationships is extremely childish and immature, grow up, and for the sake of others stay out of relationships until you develop some self awareness.

  15. Literally at least multiple times a day I'm getting a comment flagged as spam for something that is definitely not spam. I wrote a comment earlier on a post of someone going in for surgery that I wished them a speedy recovery and it got flagged as spam. I've had several comment bans. Just five minutes ago I got a warning saying 3 things got removed at once for spam. It's beginning to really piss me off with just how badly run Instagram is.

  16. Mark Zuck is a complete fucking joke. Heā€™s doing this to have Hitler level moderation to keep his higher upā€™s happy. Funny thing is the things that should be removed stay up, and the things that shouldnā€™t get instantly removed. Itā€™s what happens when you have AI as a content managerā€¦

  17. Just because I havenā€™t been doesnā€™t change anything, how was BUD/S for you? See? Itā€™s hypocritical. Not taking anything away from BUD/S, but itā€™s definitely not the hardest selection in the world. SAS selection wipes out Royal Marines and British Paraā€™s which is their version of whiteside Navy SEALs and Rangers. Thereā€™s been SAS selections where nobody even graduates. Same with Delta Forceā€¦ BUD/S might be the hardest Tier 2 SOF selection in America, but definitely not in the world.

  18. This conversation is heading in a super weird direction, but you seem like that typical 18 year old who researches and romanticizes military units and is ready at any moment to tell you the facts and history. So Iā€™m removing myself from this interaction.

  19. At the end of the day; thatā€™s someoneā€™s kid, probably doesnā€™t even want to be there, and you reddit goons are sitting here trying to act as edgy as you can. Itā€™s blatantly obvious you all are putting on a act and pretending to act how you THINK a operator would act. Have some respect, thereā€™s no honor in joking about something you arenā€™t involved in.

  20. What about Blue Squadron?.....what are their war crimes?

  21. Blue did skinning but only happened a few times. They were/ are said to be the most moral squadron. They see warfare as a art form and apply only the necessary amount for the job. Their operators are pretty quiet on the outside but constantly processing so much information internally.

  22. So the alleged skinning is what blue did that Cole didnā€™t wanna mention the Team house podcast?

  23. Yeah. I got my first warning for that too today. And it sits among a ton of Nazis who I reported but whose hate speech apparently is no problem and not even close to be as egregious as using a clown emoji. Fuck FashTok.

  24. A comedian I follow got a warning for repetitive content and something about asking for gifts? Which is rich coming from TT, which is the only entity banking big on gifts.

  25. I know who youā€™re talking about, thatā€™s ridiculous. The guidelines are a absolute joke. Getting violations over the word ā€œstupidā€ or ā€œdumbā€ is insane, those words are almost harmless but barely insulting. What do you expect from a app ran by China, or maybe our government is making them follow more guidelines, either way itā€™s ridiculous.

  26. I have the same exact thing and Iā€™m only 18, Iā€™m worried it could possibly be rectal/ mucosal prolapse, please keep me updated.

  27. I heard that in their team rooms they have scalps and ears from dead taleban fighters hung in the doorways as trophies

  28. Based on that Mathew Cole interview on TH blue squadron seems so dope. The whole warfare as an art thing is fascinating.

  29. Blue is unlike any other squadron. Thereā€™s a reason people donā€™t know as much about them as they know about Red or Goldā€¦

  30. AOR1 is still issued to troops multicam is just what they wear in most trainning or over seas ops now

  31. It looks so bad compared to AOR-1, but uniforms arenā€™t supposed to look cool ig.

  32. Iā€™d actually wager that Oā€™Neill is pretty darn smart despite other obvious pitfalls

  33. I canā€™t remember who but one of his troop commanders even said he was not very bright, but he was a good shot and thatā€™s why he was a sniper.

  34. Everyone thinks NSWDG is super mysterious and way overthink everything. The squadrons are just a bunch of bros - there's no one personality 'type' per squadron ( this may have been a thing 30 years ago - but not today ). Half the SEALs think they're better than the support guys, half treat everyone the same ( it's actually probably like 70/30 in favor of the guys that aren't assholes ). If you want to come on over and experience it for yourself, the command is always screening for new members and I highly encourage you to if you're looking for a challenge and a group of highly motivated people.

  35. Yeah, I want to join that community. I just donā€™t even know where to begin training for this goal. My family situation is not good, Iā€™m almost 19. Iā€™ve wanted to do this for a long time. Iā€™m scared of failure and thatā€™s keeping me from setting out to achieving this right now.

  36. You talking about being a SEAL or just being at the command? Are you currently in or wanting to join to be a SEAL?

  37. I want to be a SEAL, be good at my job and then get to the command if Iā€™m worth that. Youā€™re talking like youā€™re a SEAL.
