Well, Durham had two Kangaroos and a Circle K all across from each other. Not too long after the merger closed, one of the Kangaroos closed (got torn down) and now we got two Circle Ks across the street from each other.
This doesn’t look anything like intimidation, tbh. It might seem a little pointed mentioning the Dem Primaries (in a county that’s heavily Republican) but I don’t see anything out of the blue here.
I'll be real. I don't know what size my tires are, what size or connector type my window wipers are, or even what viscosity my oil is. But at least I know where to look.

The times I’ve been through it, it seems pretty forgotten. Complete with an abandoned Walmart right on the main drag. Also, you gotta pick your poison when going through 74 in Monroe (either take the toll road, or go through that gauntlet of traffic signals/dropping lanes)
The issue I have with Bojangles expanding is that they’re not giving new areas the version we all know; they’re expanding with a low-rent watered down format!

Brunswick County / Leland has exploded in growth past couple years. Not so rural anymore
Some of those subdivisions in Brunswick look like those awfully large ‘planned communities’ you’d see somewhere like Florida.

My car comes with a weird oil type (SAE 0w-8). Advance Auto didn’t even sell it (had to get 0w-16 instead)
