Not sure what you read about the case or where, but if you look at the statements from that day in 2004, as well as the statements from the people involved, and compare them to the way he tells it on TikTok, there are very intentional discrepancies. Notably, he says in 2004 (and so do the victims) that he shot AT two students who were trying to get away from him. In his TikTok, he instead says he shot "the ceiling" and never intended to hurt anyone but himself. He tries to downplay the fact that he easily could have killed people if he was a better shot (but he had just been given the gun 2 days prior and had never used one before.) This is all available in his statement from 2/09/04 at 12:04pm in the precinct booking room. All other statements from that day match his account. He intentionally shot AT students, and at a teacher.

Yeah he definitely served his time, the only issue I have is the fact that he's lying to people in order to garner their support, meanwhile his victims have to watch him lie about what happened to them and be celebrated for his honesty and accountability.
But nobody claimed she was. The harm she does WITH HER PLATFORM that is extended and lifted by HER MONEY is directly affecting the lives of trans people and their legal rights.

Hmm. Eh. While as I do agree about living vibrantly and like experiencing things freshly and with joy. However, supermarkets are horrible capitalist hellholes. A Park - Yes. A bar - Hell yes. A coffee shop - Pretty good. Even restaurants - Yes. But a supermarket or other capitalist money spending places are…honestly just horrible. I live in Korea, but am from the States. My first 3 years here were basically spent like what they are describing…but I never liked malls or supermarkets…because the are just money grubbing places trying to extract money from you and underpaying their employees. If you go to the supermarket and feel good, ask the minumum wage working how they are feeling. Trust me, it isn’t good. Viewing supermarkets as fun places through child like goggles (or other places like supermarkets) is a good way to support the oppressive work conditions in those places.
I’ll pass lol. I’ll be an activist and work within local government to increase hiking trails and parks instead of pretending I don’t hate supermarkets. Or just go to local markets, usually with worse locations and more limited selection, but genuinely kind staff and products grown by farmers just a few kilometers from me. That is the beauty I choose to see and encourage. I get what the OP is saying and I think it’s bullshit. Find beauty in nature. In local businesses. In places that are not actively harmful to society.
