  1. Yes and no. Ive taught math while teaching, but that was due to using a document camera to cast a worksheet so i can demonstrate steps in a math problem. Walking around and having presence to your students is a great way to improve student interaction, and diminishes misbehaviours.

  2. I had a "mentor" that suggested I buy with several hundred dollars of my own money on wireless setup to write on the overhead from anywhere in the room. No thank you. Walking around is said to diminishes misbehavior. It seems like there is a danger in conditioning students to goof off whenever you step away from them. They need to learn self direction over time.

  3. It's not said to diminish misbehaving, it does this. Your physical presence is a teaching tool, the issue is not what are the students doing when you are away but what are they doing when you are present. Also, why are you away!? What subject and grade level are you teaching?

  4. A tooling slug for the metric equivalent is a couple of hundred bucks on what is probably 10-20k in tooling for the tape measure.

  5. I've purchased molds for making plastic products before. My mold was very expensive for a low production item. Considering the volume of tape measures they make, I would not be surprised if it was hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars per mold. If you have a 30% profit margin on a $25 dollar tape measure, that's along time on your return to investment. Hell, even if it was 50% or even 100% profit, thats a very long time to wait on a return in investment, especially when you can cut your cost in half, (plus all the other tooling to run two production lines) simply by saying, eh no one will really notice or care.

  6. In work I design products that require tooling like this. Tooling for a tape measure is 30-40k USD. But you are right. Few will care.

  7. My estimate was a poor estimate. I have enough information to be wrong. Lol,

  8. Not to be judgmental, but looking at your grammar and spelling, it's not likely that the teacher is giving "the hardest test ever".

  9. one of the guards mistakes one party member for a close friend, could also do a "lover" or "a mistress" type scandelous thing.

  10. Put a piece of glass over it and call it fixed :)

  11. my suggestion. Buy the savage axis chambered in 30-06. Get the one that comes with a scope. It should be around the $300-$600 dollar mark. This will drop anything and everything in the province. $4000 is alot for a hunting rifle, and can get you a hell of a gun.

  12. Scuff sand and re-apply. Also looks like incorrect application to me. Could be caused by having the nozzle to close to the wood, or incorrect amounts of overlap.(i try for a 50% overlap with previous pass

  13. Part of us teachers being overwhelmed is created by students constantly on their cellphones, even if there is a clear cellphone policy in place and they are not to be in class. This causes massive disruptions in the class where it pulls the teacher away from providing a lesson, and into the role of policing the phone. Often times, but not every time, it is met with an outburst which further disrupts the entire class.

  14. Students are using there phone in class instead of working...

  15. did i miss something? was a release date announced?

  16. oh wow, okay this is exciting, thank you!

  17. That's a good read, it would be interesting to see a third-party report including what is experienced from the teachers towards students and parents.

  18. well, consider if a teacher is aggressive towards a child or a parent, they would quickly loose their job. It would be extremley unproffesional.

  19. Not necessarily. I had aggressive teachers back in the 2000s. They did not lose their jobs.

  20. that was 24 years ago. Times have changed.

  21. must provide update with said pupper on air matress. Would also be interested in puppers opinion on said air matress

  22. uh, this is pretty standard. I see it all the time.

  23. internal stress, best is to try and remove equal amounts from both sides of the piece of wood

  24. I would do standard, focus on weapons and boosters, then go for the premium

  25. I kinda like this idea, as i find the current mec a little clunky. As you can aim the rocket pod up, but not down. Id love to equid the auto cannon and mini gun

  26. sand the whole table top, prime it, repaint it. you wont see the the stain anymore

  27. Nah, ill choose to support a dev team that openly communicates and has asked players for help with ideas on solving issues within the game.

  28. i reommend incursus the most (though he does use outdated strats but all the basics are still there to learn)

  29. Awesome I didn't know there was, thank you.

  30. Yeah it may be outdated and not meta but its still far better than any strat u see typical players in forts do xd... the average player literally dont understand how rts works and do some pretty dumb things like wasting all their respurces making themselves a bigger target instead of getting weapons or something useful

  31. I'm in that dumb stage right now. I'm looking at smartening up lol

  32. Ah is fixing alot of bugs, look at how many they quashed in the last patch.

  33. That's why it's a rant with high praises. I do in fact trust them, but some of these bugs are making my friends not play and friends are important in a 100% Co-op based/balanced game

  34. Could be the difference in the axle used, as that is a weak point of casters

  35. Checked it, the left axle is thicker than the one on the right

  36. Well, don't know what to tell ya bud. Ones rated more than the other
