A couple of weeks ago i had a very traumatic expierence come up in therapy and for the first time in a decade i cried. My wife said i looked like Amber during the trial with my facial expressions and my voice pitching. I was acting 'weird' because i just didn't know how to process talking about something traumatic whilst keeping a straight face. And now when i see anything come up about Amber i feel like for the first time i completely understand everything about her behaviour in court. I wish her all the best, she seems like she's been through hell with Depp. I hope she finds peace and is living her best life with her daughter.
Ik ben jammer genoeg een textbook voorbeeld van mijn generatie's schoolproblemen met handicaps. Ik heb autisme, ben hoog functionerend, maar op sociaal vlak heb ik het moeilijk. Kleine groepjes van max 4 of 5 personen gaat nog, maar in een klas werd ik zenuwachtig, waardoor ik niet stil kon zitten, niet kon opletten. Ik had continu anxiety rond mijn klasgenoten en dat uitte zich in toxisch gedrag. Ik wou er zó graag bijhoren dat ik dat compleet verkeerd aanpakte, maar dat had ik toen niet door. Leerkrachten vonden mij vervelend, zeiden dat ik niet wou mee werken en behandelden mij niet goed. Ik kreeg regelmatig te horen dat er nooit niks van mij zou komen, dat ik beter op leercontract kon gaan want dan zijn ze van mij af. Ik had zelfs 1 leerkracht die zei dat ik toch niet zou slagen voor haar vak en ze werd ambetant van mij dus mocht ik haar uur op de speelplaats blijven.
Ik ben 35 dit jaar en was daarvoor iemand die continu nieuwe dingen studeerde, avondschool regular, en jobhopper. Ik haatte alles. Was continu omringd door negativiteit. Mijn laatste job was een hoge management functie. Nu ben ik tattooeur. Ik ben nog nooit zo gelukkig geweest. Mijn mentor is als een grote broer. De shop waar ik werk is een tweede thuis. Ik ben van een stijve en snobistische wereld naar 'iedereen is welkom' gegaan. Van een maatpak elke dag naar tattoos, kapotte jeans en mn oude bandshirts. I love it!
