It's kinda funny seeing this because I actively watched alot of my friends relationships crumble in the span of a short time with the only person I was semi interested in moving away in the middle of the final year we had before graduation 🥴
When I used to work at cvs it honestly wasn't so bad due to the folks around there being nice and it normally being pretty quiet but when going on interviews at larger places I felt so overwhelmed despite never getting the job with the amount of people there
Wouldn't say I'm afraid of people but I tend to keep my head down and try to get whatever I'm doing done quickly so I don't deal with people that commonly,hell I've even come across old class mates but never had much of the courage to really start a convo and just awkwardly wave by or pass glances
On one hand sure giant robot go boom is cool, but I've really come to appreciate the designs and world building the more and more I get invested and how I occasionally use certain ideas for my own art
As a person which falls into the "non-achievers" category well trying to make do with what I can as an autistic adult but not alot of luck with being able to finding anyone thats willing to hire
I think the term operator/pilot are the most fitting terms considering how mechs can come in all shapes and sizes and can forfill different purposes, well that and some terms overlap in real life like when you call someone a pilot and it can apply to both aircraft and some sea vessels
I definitely get where your coming from in my case I feel like I've improved so much and just wanna share my lil accomplishments on the internet but when all I get is just a small acknowledgement on the inital sketch as opposed to the finished piece it sure does hurt a bit after spending hours working on something I put alot of time in, but regardless I still feel like it's the journey itself which should be more validating rather than the dumb arbitrary internet points that determine our worth when it comes to our talents so keep your head up Op
Considering how they managed to beat them with a old ship from what ww2? Yeah I think the same rules would apply when it comes to just using careful positioning to thier advantage and some ordinance to take them down if we're talking about a jeager and with the kaijus yeah I could easily see them bum rushing these things and tearing them apart with ease Considering how freakishly fast they were in water
Coming from someone on the spectrum using you as some sort of joke was entirely wrong and she clearly lacks self respect by going through with this in the first place so no NTA

What caused the parachute to malfunction was it shrapnel or the speed he was going?
