I am also 5'7" with broad shoulders and hips. Slightly larger though, 34K in uk sizing (though my bra is a US 34 O 🙄). My surgeon didn't talk grams in the consult but thought she could get me down to DD or maybe even D. I've been poring over pics on Real Self trying to find some that look like me, but it's pretty sparse so far. I almost want people to start posting measurements like shoulder width and ribcage width (as opposed to circumference) because band size is only a teeny part of our shape. But that's probably not going to happen lol
Yeah it's frustrating because there are so many factors involved right? I still want to look like myself, just a better, happier, more comfortable version and with the gram requirements I'm worried I'll be super small. I'd be happy with a "society D/DD". The letters don't matter to me much as long as I can run with only a single sports bra when it's all said and done. I guess I'm worried I'll go from very large to basically flat and that feels extreme
I told my doc absolutely no free nipple graft. She doesn't like doing them anyways, but the nice thing about that is that there's no way we can go from this big to flat while retaining the nipple. I think a C would be too small for my frame (I went to Walmart and looked at all the cup sizes in 34 lol) but she really didn't think we could get that low.
That's great advice! I'm going to try to weigh them this weekend. I think mine are very very dense so I also wonder if that's a factor too? I was going to check out bras this weekend to find the size I like but with my insurance being very strict about gram removal I don't feel like I have as much control as I'd like :(

Yeah her being pregnant doesn't stick out in my mind unfortunately! We talked about it again together last night and neither of us remember her looking pregnant. I think he probably was going out of his way not to look at her too much because Alec is Alec. I can't say for certain but I feel like that detail would have stuck out in my mind but memories can be funny
Either year is a little tell about our friend Hillary. If it was 2015 she clearly didn't give birth to Rafa, and if it was 2016 she clearly wasn't pregnant with Leo. This is some good not Spanish tea but also some good Bellygate tea!
