I just started playing recently and never experienced anyone like that, I've noticed higher level/laff toons were pretty friendly to me. I'd suggest trying it again, don't let some trolls run you off.
My best advice, if you seriously wanna play solo I suggest playing two toons. In TTR I have 4 toons, I play 3 at a time and it helps a lot for if you just wanna grind solo.
For me, no. I play a character and do third person, and I view roleplaying a form of "story writing." I do think it is something that you could run by your s/o if you're worried they'll be upset, but for me, I've always viewed it as characters interacting with each other. Like a movie or a book. NSFW can be a grey area, but I'd always tell my s/o if there was any NSFW going on and maybe run it by them.
Also, make sure you're on time to class! If you live on campus your sim will start walking over once class has already started which will usually make them late. Living off-campus will make it way easier to get to class on time as they just walk to the edge of the lot. You can also try playing with a sim who can teleport, or getting them to hang out by the building ahead of time
There's a closer dispensary in Horseheads. It's called Budz & Studz. I only vape, but it was $25 for a disposable battery one gram and decent quality. They have everything else, too. You can Uber there and back, which is what I do.
I live right near there and it's my go-to, however here they're raiding all of the "illegal" dispensaries because of that bs new legal one that no one is gonna go to.
Unfortunately no, I just ended up uninstalling it. If it is an outdated/broken mod doing that, it's only affecting that specific thing that I'm aware of.
to be specifc, i always hit a problem with the warnings that transitions are longer than sections and i don't understand how to fix that and what to change. cuz i don't understand what is a section and what is a transition and i also don't understand how the program differentiates the two
Won't OP need to use Geometric Design Sections to create station/transport/brake/lift/etc track? (I ask because I do use Force Vector Design, but I don't use FVD++ or the included FV Design tool)
No, you can use the straight section & curved section for that. Just change the direction from 90 to 0 to make the curve go up, then change the radius and total angle and that'll start your lift. Do 180 and it'll go down, add straight pieces for those you want straight (station, brake, lift, mbr, etc).
Very tech savvy but more on my own terms and haven't met too many people who are also as tech savvy as I. Didn't know that was a common thing, to my friends I'm always the "nerdy" one. 😂
How does the faithfulness mod work? I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in my searches, but just wondering if it’s something you apply to each sim or does it prevent all cheating? Sometimes I like to cause problems in townie marriages, but I get irritated when townies cause problems in mine 😂
Oh it's a social interaction like "become best friend" and that stuff, it's not automatically set. You can ask a romantic interest to be faithful, that's it. I also know there's something in MCCC where you can turn off autonomous flirting for sims, haven't used that though

I'm pretty sure it keeps them entirely faithful, but I haven't tested it out fully. Seems like they stop all flirty interactions but I'm not 100% sure
