I got through most of pantheon five on my first ever attempt due to excessive grinding on other pantheons then died stupidly to pure vessel

For me the one in kings station. At every junction in the game I just sit and think about what else I need to do. It has easy access to anywhere in the game because of the stag and city

I don't find brooding mawlek fun at all but at least I have found his patterns. Once you learn them he becomes fairly easy. I normally beat him before gruz mother or false knight on my playthroughs now. My advice, however annoying it will be, practice him in godhome or on blank save files
