Have you tried just pulling the flash up fully by hand? I think maybe mjus do not fire unless there is film in them, not sure how you could test that out tho, and I do not have my mju at hand
Can't change the flash mode or anything? Can't think of anything to help you. Maybe try load a film in and take a couple shots, and rewind it back (you can retrieve a leader that's gone inside with some tricks you can find on the internet) to see if it works then

The flash now goes up fully except I can't use any of the buttons on top now :(

Even after loading film in there nothing works I ruined 2 rolls of film as a result and I still don't know what's wrong with it
