  1. Only two percent of all workers make the federal minimum wage. This is essentially meaningless. Might I suggest using the average blue collar wage and as others have pointed out the price should be per square footage of a home as that has dramatically increased as well.

  2. It is even more impressive when one uses "time prices" as suggested by Pooley and Tupy in their book Superabundance. The average hourly wage of an unskilled worker in 1985 was $12.50. Divide that into $1.50 and it would have taken that work a little over seven minutes to earn enough to buy the hotdog/soda combination. The average unskilled worker earns $34.76 per hour. Running the same math means that it takes today's worker a little less than two and a half minutes to earn enough for the combo. So really, the same work today can buy 2.8 hotdog/soda combos for the same time spent working in 1985!

  3. Pay attention to your pricing. Pricing is the number one driver in profitability and most entrepreneurs set their prices too low and never recover. Prices should not be based on costs plus some margin, rather prices should be based on perceived value to customers and then those prices will or will not justify the expenditure of costs.

  4. In the case of student loan debt cancellation, the SCOTUS can be overruled by Congress doing its job and passing legislation.

  5. Since electricity uses roughy 30 percent of all hydrocarbon generated energy and the US uses about 16 percent of all power, this would be an overall reduction of about 4 percent of worldwide hydrocarbon usage. This is, of course, assuming NO increased demand which is a fantasy. Therefore, even if this happens, and I seriously doubt it. We are back to where we started.

  6. The Libertarian Party of Texas has a fund specifically for lobbying the Texas legislature in Austin -

  7. In the suburbs of north Texas, the overwhelming majority of houses have the garage in the back of the house and a system of alleyways for access. I have driven home dozens of times with FSD on and I alway have to take over the last few blocks because FSD insists on parking in front of the house. I would love a "teach mode" to fix this.

  8. Instead of using your address, hold a spot on the map that is your garage entrance and star it. You can then set your home to that star and it will drive to the right place. I managed to get this working for a similar situation here in Tampa. It was a bit quirky like you had to clear your current home (vs. trying to change it).

  9. GC may not like this answer, but my suggestion is to create a gmail account. As an example -

  10. Yes and you triggered me to try it with eARC off and it resolves the issue. This happened last year but was resolved in a appletv system update. Now it is back but I have the start without eARC and then turn it on work around. Thanks for the help.

  11. So do you folks think this is a MLB issue or an Apple TV issue? I sent a support request into MLB with a screen shot of this thread asking when it was going to be fixed. So far - 🦗🦗
