We use botanigaurd for thips in a commercial setting. Its too bad you can't get small bags of it. We also use nematodes for thrips which you can probably find at a local grow store.
Need oil works on regular scale not sure about this one. You could also use a systemic bug control as long as what you treating isn't anything thing you or any pets eat.

Pony up for the legit Acdelco ignition coil if you only want to do it once. Aside from that, those 4.3 motors are tanks as long as you keep oil in them.
Those 4.3 liters are incredible! I worked as a fleet mechanic where we had many high milage Astros and Safaris. I had to stay on top of the oil level though. Every now and again I would get a vehicle inspection report for low or no oil pressure. I would find them ran out of oil, top them off, and they'd keep going! A couple of them started making noise, but it wasn't anything some 15w40 couldn't fix!

I was just thinking about this. I also just recently replaced one of my wiper arms because the spline got so sloppy and worn out that it literally fell off lol. So maybe double check your wiper arms too and make sure they're not that loose. We get a lot of rain here in the PNW. Lol
