Why do big corpos tend to be really shitty? It seems that the bigger they are, the more woke they become. Square-Enix, Koei-Tecmo, and Bandai-Namco, all of them got shittier after merging and becoming bigger. In the past, the alleged biggest corpo in history, Dutch East India Company was also a big asshole and full of corruptions.

Εγώ θυμάμαι δεκαετία 90 τους γονείς μου και τους φίλους τους να πηγαίνουμε όλοι μαζί σε ταβέρνες οικογενειακώς κλπ μια φορά την εβδομάδα τουλάχιστον και στον λογαριασμό να τσακώνονται ποιος θα πρωτοπληρώσει. Μιλάμε για τσακωμό. "Οχι, εγώ θα πληρώσω", "κάτσε κάτω", "πάρτα πίσω" κλπ. Μόνο ξύλο δεν παίζανε. Και όχι γεύμα για 2-3 άτομα. Αλλά 3 οικογένειες και παιδιά. 10+ άτομα.
One day I am going to open one of these "what's new" posts and see they cracked the protection on Primal Rage. Ty to the devs for their efforts and for these fantastic updates.
At least the game is playable and looks and sounds good. I rather see some updates for stuff like Model 2/3, Neo Geo 64, etc. And that ancient, closed source Model 2 emulator will finally be replaced.
But i'm not moving, the textures look like that while standing there. I have to go closer for them to finally appear so i think it's a LOD issue not a streaming issue.

I played a lot of Saturn and PS1 games that had really bad frame rates. After all the hype about the N64 having bad frame rates i was expecting the experience on the other consoles to be smoother but it really isn't. The Saturn is actually even worse.
I think DOOM 64 is the most ageless N64 game. It runs smooth and looks better than any other game using the DOOM engine. It's level designs are some of the best in the "90's labyrinthine FPS" genre ever made. And it has a unique horror atmosphere/style not even the originals had at such level. Many even think of it as the "true" DOOM 3.

It's streaming problem. I play on medium and haven't seen any LODs staying on. Mind you, I installed the game on NVMe SSD.
I have it on a regular SSD, i would understand if this was an issue with old, mechanical HDDs but non on a SSD.
