IcemanofOz

  1. Like most things in life, it's all good until it's not...

  2. I recently did this with a 10mm spanner. Cut the open end off and ground it down to a pry edge.

  3. Iceman is a nickname I've had for nearly 30 years. It's also fairly hard to get it as a user name on its own, so I added ofOz to it as I'm from Australia, and it's also a kind of a rework of Wizard of Oz...

  4. Don't worry, we are laughing at you. Bye bye 😂

  5. Jokes on you. I will be turning mine in for a new iphone. Enjoy your Samsuck.

  6. Oh, I will. I'm also going to join the iPhone sub, so in 6 months time I can listen to you bitch about how many times you've broken your new iPhone.... 🤣

  7. Just received my kit today, and I was rather surprised/ disappointed to realise it didn't at least come with a storage bag of some kind...

  8. Ghetto strip club version of a Power Slap competition.

  9. 6. Be thankful you don't have to watch us lose to West Coast again.

  10. If your prescription only has correction for Sphere and you are not severely myopic or have a very large difference between your eyes, the binocular adjustments should be able to provide the same corrections as your spectacles. Of course for birding it can be problematic getting the spectacles out of the way sufficently quickly and safely.

  11. Yes, Harvey Norman is where I've been looking. I recently bought a new laptop and received a gift card with it that I'm planning on using for the binoculars.

  12. I have a gift card I'm planning on using for them if possible, which narrows down my options to what the store has available. The card is for 250 Australian dollars, which I figure gets me something semi decent to test out if I'd like to take the idea more seriously.

  13. Aside from it now being one big advertisement with a tiny banner for what you are playing, the last logged in timer was really handy for keeping track of how long until a task was completed etc.

  14. If you are going to be incredibly bad at what you do, at least have a backup plan for when you get caught out. USB drive with a pre-recorded mix in her pocket as a just in case, and she could have easily continued to con the world into thinking she knows what she's doing.

  15. Yes. It's fair to assume he is only going to improve as the season progresses.

  16. Does this model not work with pinching your fingers like the elipsa does?

  17. It works with books bought from the Kobo store...

  18. Kobo sell refurbished units, they would be the safest option

  19. Or... buy a scrub daddy. They are dish washer safe. They last forever

  20. I have both. The Clara 2E is a great size for reading on the move, but the Libra 2 is by far my preferred option.

  21. Whats the size difference between the two?

  22. The Kobo Libra 2 weighs 215 grams and measures 144.6 x 161.6 x 9 mm; the Kobo Clara 2E weighs 171 grams and measures 112.05 x 159.02 x 8.66 mm

  23. TKO clearly need to have a good, hard look at themselves. When someone is willing to lose out on 200 million dollars because they won't sell you something, it's a clear indication you have issues.

  24. What did they do that is so bad,its worth 200 mil?

  25. Incredibly bad reputation for being a toxic workplace that has covered up numerous allegations of harassment. Poor management and manipulation of the "stars" who work for them and generally turning everything they touch into a corporate, money hungry, shit show of a circus.

  26. Good question. I'll be following this for some tips that will hopefully come in handy soon.

  27. Damn that's extreme? Were your parents also similarly affected by premature greying?

  28. My mother was almost exactly the same. My father was starting to go grey when he died in his early 40s. I got my mother's height and her grey hair...

  29. You can succeed and overcome despite all that. The higher you rise, the better the story.

  30. Side note, my mother is 6 foot 5, so getting my height from her hasn't been a bad thing.
