  1. I'm glad Maeda chose the "I just think you're kind of a bitch" route instead of the "you go against God/nature's design" route, this way feels way more reasonable for a high schooler and way less trope-y for a shounen manga.

  2. I love that Luffy went Gear 3 in this chapter, really hoping that he implements gear shifting for specific situations going forward instead of just Sun Godding every problem he comes across.

  3. I’m sorry, what? Gear 5 is literally the culmination of Luffy’s fruit. There is no other awakening other parts of it—the fruit is awakened. The previous gears were simply limited versions of Nika Fruit.

  4. I meant "awakened versions" to represent adaptations to each gear/"limited version" we've seen up until the culminative G5, based on having finally understood the nature of the Nika Fruit.

  5. We usually aren't immediately aware of the downtime when we lose/regain consciousness, which is why we see fighters single-legging refs after stoppages sometimes.

  6. This'll be the first RAW after Mania where the fans don't cheer who they normally boo and boo who they normally cheer.. crazy how that happens, eh?

  7. So Drew wins at Mania with Bloodline assistance, Bloodline wins with Drew's assistance, Jey beats Jimmy when someone interferes with Solo's interference, and Cody wins after interference from Drew, Seth, Solo, Rock, Jey, Jimmy, and (very briefly) Punk...

  8. Intentionally tying up with 30 seconds left in the fight after wobbling your opponent is wild to me.    Lerena snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with his lack of killer instinct, painful to watch.

  9. Saturday's still gonna be dope, but as a heads up I'm pretty sure Ngannou vs. Joshua is on Friday morning.

  10. Sorry Cigano, I think Francis showed that he can beat these guys in boxing.

  11. I wanna see Franky do something (with Bonney's blessing, of course) with the fact that he'll be able to take apart a fully functional Pacifista unit and study its inner workings.

  12. Take a look at the replay - you can see Chuck load up too much with the right hand, overextending himself and then getting caught off balance. That'll take your legs right out from under you, Joe.

  13. Zhang hit Ribiero with the ol' 1-2-3, drop like a tree

  14. If the creative doesn't pivot back to Cody headlining Night 2, even as part of a triple threat, then Roman and Rocky are going to be dealing with one hell of an unruly audience during their match.

  15. Armbar has been there for this entire round basically, but Jasmine's got tunnel vision going for the TKO.

  16. If a fight falls through at 170, just call 'Cowboy' Kevin Holland - he always knows a guy.

  17. It's Stricky who's got a fight, Toronto's got a fight involving Strickay - Stricky, Dricky, Stricky, Dricky!

  18. Eddie Alvarez beating Rafael Dos Anjos via RD1 KO - still pissed I didn't bet on that because I was absolutely certain of the outcome and Eddie was already a +250 dog before any added props.

  19. Holy crap that’s TUF level bs … Ruediger was the first one in the show’s history to miss weight, too, and did it in the most hilarious manner ever

  20. BJ was sick to his stomach watching Gabe gripe and complain lmao

  21. Even if I wanted to try and no sell his entrance music, the moment John hit that slide into the ring would instantly put me on 10, like every time. Goddamn, that man clean.

  22. Somewhere, the author of Ubel Blatt cried a single tear after seeing Ghost Spear's Black Wing.

  23. When Big E comes back, the reveal needs to start with an E sprite walking up and joining X and Kofi on the entrance animation once they walk out, then have him hit the live entrance while the roof flies off the arena

  24. Hey mods, can I make "Lotta souvenirs for the Mormons tonight" my flair?

  25. Caught Rob with the stiff jab while he was bouncing in and kept him on rollerskates, painful to watch for our boy but Izzy v Dricius officially makes sense so that pre-fight build should be fun.

  26. I wish either of these guys would throw to the body

  27. This is Silva/Franklin in the clinch, my goodness. Brent has no idea what to when Barnadoui slaps the plum on him.
