  1. Thanks.. The fight is 2 hours after weigh-in. Not a ton of time to rehydrate and fuel up. Hopefully I'll wake up at a decent weight.

  2. It was almost a year ago, and I felt dizzy the entire week. But the beauty of it was that once I was on weight, calories no longer mattered. The night before I was eating all kinds of sugars cause that calories weight wasn't going to hit me until a week or so. All that mattered is what was in my gut. So I ate light, calorie dense food. Stuff that you'd never think to eat before as you were dieting.

  3. Thank you so much for the in depth answer bro. You gave me some ideas 🙏

  4. This early on all you need is to train bro. Just get the mat time. All training is good training

  5. Mix in a bit of everything. Variety is the spice of life. Definitely have more sober than lit days tho

  6. i rather hear from someone who microdoses nicotine like a responsible person. just because you have a bad experience doesn't mean we are not allowed to

  7. Sounds like y’all were sparring a bit too rough bro bro. But to answer your question we’ve all been there. I actually just had my last spar for my camp yesterday and got pieced up by dudes I usually toy with. Some times you have off days or your over trained or facing heavier more experienced people like in your case etc. There are so many variables in training I would t stress about it too much. But yee me personally my camps only go that hard once about half way through maybe up to 3 times depending how much time I have. Any other sparring is light and technical

  8. Call again and tell them that you really need that money. In my case, I called them on April 10 and told them what’s the hold up. They said the VA already authorized the payment on March 31st but the Dept of Treasury hadn’t deposited it into my account. So the nice lady on the line escalated it and she “POC” it or some isht and noted that I will be under extreme hardship if I don’t receive the money. So on April 12, 2 days after the call, it deposited into my NFCU account. It’s crazy coz this is the first time I encountered some issues with them for the past 4 years (36 months worth of semester)drawing GI bill MHA. 🤦‍♂️

  9. Sorta unrelated but I understand each payment is technically for the month before right? Do you know how April and Mays will be dished out? Do the final 2 months get put together since May would be partial? Or do you get your final payment after the semester ends?

  10. Yes that’s correct because MHA usually hits every 1st of the month for the month prior. You’ll get full BAH for April then pro-rated for the month of May.

  11. Bros a legend. I can’t count how many times I looked something up and saw him as the top comment. Super knowledgeable and helpful.

  12. Although rare you can excel on the outside as a shorter fighter. But also you don’t need to be Mike Tyson to feel confident going inside. A lot of success comes from placement. And if you work really hard on your cardio you can overwhelm opponents. Punches in bunches. Short answer tho is just keep training boxing! Don’t hyper focus on a style. Also don’t neglect s&c

  13. It’s unfortunately very common in the martial arts world. Lot of scum bag owners and coaches tbh

  14. Cut all carbs sodium and sugar out your diet and start the cut by drinking a gallon of water then everyday cut that by half. Eat lightly and sweat a lot. It’s possible to lose a lb of water weight each day using this method also you may want to soak in the hottest water you can stand for about 15 minutes at a time this will make you sweat a lot as well also the sunna helps as well. You may want to drink some roasted dandelion root tea it’s a natural diuretic it will make you piss a lot. My son just cut 5 lbs in 5 days using this method.

  15. Sounds easily doable in 3 weeks unless you're already completely shredded. Talk to your coach and make a plan. Too many variables (current diet, height, activity level, bodyfat%, TDEE) for us to be able to give you specific tips besides the obvious ones like eating cleaner and increasing activity level.

  16. 240-230 will not be a problem for you int he next 3 weeks. You can reasonably expect to hit the scale the day of your event at 235 if you clean your diet up now, the rest can be done by skipping dinner the night before and sweating out whatever rest. Only 10 pounds at 240 where 10lbs is less than 5% of your total body weight is not a lot of weight to cut and shouldn't be debilitating of a deficit come fight day

  17. That was a few months ago (: I was put on two strong antibiotics for 2 weeks

  18. We’re you able to workout on the antibiotics? I’m in the same boat but have a competition in 3 weeks :/

  19. I’m not too sure, my infection in my hand was so bad that they wanted me to not use it until it healed. Anytime I used it, it reopened the wounds on my hand. I’m so sorry that I’m not any help on this! Good luck!

  20. Join a bjj or wrestling gym so you can get murked without the brain damage. Very humbling experience

  21. I went right afterwards, got a shot and antibiotics. Almost all healed now, just the puncture sites that are still scabbed over

  22. We’re you able to workout with the antibiotics they gave you? I’m in the same boat :/

  23. Yes, everything heal up fine. Just take them as you’re told and make sure to take all of them. I’d draw a line where the swelling is at then if it keeps advancing after you’ve been taking antibiotics then you need to go back.

  24. Charles would actually be a great style to adopt because you don’t worry about getting taken down. That’s why he’s happy to fight so aggressively with his Muay Thai stance. That being said don’t compete again until you not only get good at Muay Thai but can then blend the in between parts of striking and grappling. Till then don’t neglect your bjj! You’ll be a beast.

  25. If you have to pick one go with bjj. The beauty of grappling is that you can have full on intensity sessions without the fear of brain damage for the most part. Sure in a perfect world you wanna train as many things as you can but it ain’t a perfect world. Before I learned any striking I only had wrestling and it paid off in hella random fights

  26. Not exactly what you might be looking for but St Johns Wort did wonders for me back in the day. It’s otc too

  27. I finally got it. 2-3 lbs wet good London rocket. I'll harvest Sunday and keep you apprised.

  28. Try very low dose kratom with coffee. If you’re set on the nic do zyns or gum but be ready to feel nauseous either way

  29. Just do full body calisthenic workouts 2-4 times a week. Sets and reps will depend on what you can do per movement

  30. thanks for the suggestion. will definitely keep this on mind during my workouts. But what I need to know is do you have any proper routine/plans for beginners for the workouts in gym too? (for strengthening my muscles...)

  31. I can get drunk but I drink a lot. I will say though that I had to give up weed after awhile because it would only give me anxiety but trintellix made the magic come back. Wonder why that is
