NTA I’m a little confused. Did the entire family have an issue with the gifts or was it just the OTT sister? Is this the mother of the niece on the spectrum?
The whole family said it was too much and described it was creepy/stalkerish. It was the one sister who said it to my face. She's not the mom of the niece on the spectrum. That's the other sister.
Gift cards can also at times be a cop out for when people can’t be faffed to think about what you might like as a gift. Where they for shops/places that you like? Or generic high street ones?
