Can I ask, as someone who sees plastic n goes ew, I also trust mode so if they put a poly bottom option I imagine its a good sound production vector so Im curious what made u go poly over alu or coppa?
There were a few factors mostly aesthetic, since I wanted a lighter colored theme I went with the crema, but since mode doesn't offer a crema bottom I went with the poly. Also my Mode 65 has a full copper bottom so just wanted something different this time around and poly was the only option I really liked other than the copper. Lastly from my understanding the sound profile is quite different from full metal builds. My only worry quality wise was the threads but no issues whatsoever as long as you don't go too hard on tightening the screws.
Every time I think about a mode sonnet I wanna get the poly bottom for those exact reasons, its very unique and I think the blend kinda makes a poky sound but dont take my word for it haha. I think ur right about the threads, Id b warry of taking it appart much in general, also careful w any grease or oils as some eat plasticas. Very dope board tho
