Plus, she disagrees with banishing/binding work which I've practised before to get rid of negative people in my life, and prevent people from acting in ways which could harm my family. I've also expressed how I preform spells on family members without telling them (good luck spells, money spells, spells for them to get a bit of good news) which she interpreted as me violating their consent and messing with their lives. The way I word my spells is always with a clause saying that the energy will only reach them if they're receptive to it but she thinks I should first ask them anyway
This seems like a very personal & fraught matter; have you talked with your parents or grandparents or other elders around you? It might be worth more to hear their perspective than that of randos online.
