  1. might get hate for this but kinda glad we didn’t work out a trade

  2. We also don’t necessarily know what they were offering. There was obviously a mad dash for QB’s this draft and the Seahawks may have thought we be there closer to their pick. Moving up 8 picks for a QB is going to cost a lot. I’m sure there is a ton of almost trades that happen in the draft for all scenarios.

  3. I count 4 (Williams, Penix, Odunze, and Nix). Who's the 5th?

  4. The next 2 picks were both Pac-12 if that means anything

  5. Rumor has it, he wasn’t gonna enter and wanted to come back. His NIL agent has been pressuring/pestering him to enter the past 2 weeks.

  6. Ya…… this is the one that hurts the most

  7. Yeah, I’m legitimately bummed out. This sucks, but I get it.

  8. I'm gonna be real, as a relatively well traveled (though not a ton in europe, sadly) American, I would absolutely not have guessed that the French Riviera has palm trees

  9. Palm trees are non native but just able to grow in the climate.

  10. Minshew is the same age as our OC so might as well!

  11. I assumed he was just one of those kids to go under the radar in high school (which ig he was) but to get ZERO D1 offers was insane to me 😳

  12. Many players are like that. Some late bloomers, some overlooked due to size or where they grew up, some had hardships that put them at a disadvantage to go to college.

  13. That’s kind of annoying. 2 in the whole state and they’ll be within 20 miles of each other.

  14. In-N-Out has been slowly working its way north. They will be in Seattle soon enough.

  15. I stand corrected. I just looked it up- apparently he didn’t take that stance on interracial romance until 1993, well into his career as a leading man- and I personally cannot blame the man for making an exception for Kelly Reilly. Thank you for the correction.

  16. I actually read it was less about black women but more about white men, a core demographic for his action films in the 90’s, not feeling insecure about a black man with a white women.

  17. Well... Maybe not that extreme but it certainly was much more expensive.

  18. Back then you used to be about to just get standby tickets at least.

  19. The bears quite literally fell for a trap. It may be a meme to some but there is no doubt they got hooked and caught with there pants down!

  20. Bulls die with a whimper not a bang. Anything else is just a short term trend reversal or at the worse a correction.

  21. He will be a walk-on. Gonzaga needs guard depth next year, we'll see if he's ready.

  22. No chance he sees the floor as a walk on. It will be Nembhard and Krajnovic will hold it down at point.

  23. Yes... and that's why people say it's like a suburb. The only way in which it's the "central city" is in the fact that it has a larger population.

  24. There is a defensiveness from people in San Jose with they are called a suburb. Yes, they are a major city, and are the center of their metro, but silicon valley doesn’t exist without being in the gravitation pull of San Francisco. Like you said, majority of the city is low ride suburban housing developments.

  25. I get this from the perspective "You're the Mountain West. You can't just peel the skin off the PAC 12's corpse and wear it around like that."

  26. Kind of what is happening to an extent. They keep their regular power payments for the CFP until 2026 and then get a reduced but “higher than the rest of the G5” for a few years after that.

  27. EV demand is wavering. Tesla is still trading 30+ earnings which is extremely high for a car manufacturer. Shotty build quality, slow delivery timelines, and an industry rollback on commitment to EV’s. Not to mention future challenges with lithium extraction.

  28. How was it? So many options popping up. I still haven't had a chance to try the mochi donuts at Short&Sweet.

  29. To me I actually liked the fruit tea at Short & Sweet better, however this new place does a soft serve tea with a pinneapple soft serve which pretty good. It’s a cool little shop as well.

  30. Originally committed to Utah State and reopened his recruiting when Sprinkle left. Had an offer to follow Sprinkle to University of Washington but opted to go to Pullman, which is about an hour away from his hometown in Idaho.

  31. Yeah, a bunch of people wrote off that him going to UW was a done deal. Speaks to the impression Riley made.

  32. Mazda is no premium economy lmfao. It’s just economy like the rest of them.

  33. I mean their really isn’t any real premium economy brands. Just luxury and economy with some nicer trimmed economy cars with premium features.

  34. Long term SPY/VOO holders beat like 80-90% of investors lol

  35. Michigan requires 50% of your credits be completed at UM to graduate. Davis is a senior so he’s very close to graduation but would still require nearly 2 full years to complete a degree there, so Michigan simply doesn’t want to take someone who is so far from completing a degree

  36. I mean makes sense. Part of maintain high academic rankings is having a high 5 year graduation rate. A guy like Davis was never going to graduate at Michigan. Atleast not why he was actively playing.

  37. I knew a dude like that in the marine corps, only rode with him once though, didn't dare get in the car with him after that. On a chill, 20 minute drive I rode every day and had never had any issues, he managed to pick a fight with three other drivers, almost get in a wreck twice, including trying to get out of his car during a shouting match with an elderly woman who he had cutoff for no discernible reason.

  38. The barrier to get a drivers license in the US is too low.

  39. Aren’t Seattle, Portland and Vegas all about the same city population size? Interesting Portland and Seattle each have a budget more than twice the size.

  40. Seattle’s Metro has almost 2 million more people then Portland. This is also doing just city limits which is closer in population if that is what you mean.
