  1. i think there is a new advisor now. But when I was in it I really enjoyed the process and how small knitted the classes were. It was a professor who encouraged me to do the program so I had a much easier finding someone who would mentor and be a faculty advisor. Overall, although the research part can be frustrating sometimes I am glad I did it. Hope it helps. :)

  2. same happened to me. have no idea what it is. but they just went away with time. as long as it’s not causing you pain should be ok. but check with ur piercer

  3. it’s just irritated hence the redness and pain, just avoid sleeping on your side and the pain should gradually decrease. don’t try to move the jewelry except for the times you wanna clean them, if you move it it may cause more irritation and increase the healing time keep cleaning it around twice a day and it should be fine x

  4. Thank you, I knew taking it out was the worst possible option. Heading to the doctor tomorrow afternoon as it’s 7pm rn.

  5. My ear fully like absorbed it and it hurt like hell. They number my ear and ripped that shit out.

  6. OMG i’m happy they got that out for you! hoping you recover well

  7. I graduated a semester early. I felt like I was floating in limbo as I finished in Decemeber of 2016. I started graduate school in August 2017. Not enough time for a 'big girl job' so I worked at a garden center and planned my wedding. I kinda wish I had taken that extra semester to do more research now looking back. In the end, it didn't hurt me. I'm a PhD as of Monday, so that's cool.

  8. Yes. I am graduating a semester early this fall with my B.A. in IA… i came into college with 12 AP credits and took 9 credits altogether at a different institution over this summer and last..

  9. I made this trip with four people in November. Insane. We took four Ubers on the way there which was horrible but the greyhound bus on the way back was really nice and easy. I’d recommend getting a zip car, but you gotta book it ahead of time.

  10. every greyhound route i see is absurdly long 😭; am i missing something or would i have to put up with 8+ hour rides?

  11. of course! doing well on tests is just another boost your resume/ application to wherever it is you want to go (and it’s a big boost). while there is nothing wrong with going test-optional, having a strong score will reallllllllly benefit you

  12. sometimes when you’re getting a vast majority of the questions correct, the last remaining questions that you were trying to get right every time are going to be a little bit more specific. At this point you probably have a very strong grasp of all of the general concepts on the test, but there are those outlying 10 that test a very specific non-repeating skill. for example, on some test there is one question about the foci of an ellipses graph. that is a non-repeating question and not a generalized skill. But unfortunately, without a strong grasp of how to solve that problem you probably would have to guess no matter what. So when looking back on practice tests try to see if the questions you were getting wrong are those oddly specific questions.
