  1. Watching The Addams Family as we speak, and I was actually gonna comment Raul Julia as Gomez

  2. Really enjoyed this, and the twist at the end was completely unexpected. Fantastic!

  3. As soon as I saw the image, my thought was 'please don't let this be true'. Poor wee soul. I could weep for humanity when I see what we're capable of

  4. I have two favourites: Kingsley from Partick Thistle and H'Angus the Monkey from Hartlepool.

  5. TIL the Partick Thistle mascot is called Kingsley. I always thought it's name was Jaggy, cos, well, it looks jaggy. Glorious piece of nightmare fuel, either way

  6. Same here. I'm forever putting the bloody thing down, and immediately forgetting where I put it. Found it in the fridge one time

  7. Ugh, why is she still a thing? Honestly, hen, fuck off and give us all peace

  8. It looks fantastic, in my opinion. You've done a great job there, op. I'm now absolutely determined that I'm gonna knit this sweater, it's such a nice pattern

  9. I've had my eye on those black pincers and the bat weights for a wee while now. May need to get them. Nice collection, op, and very well organised

  10. I've been following this case, and it's utterly heartbreaking. That poor, wee lassie had her whole life ahead of her. I hope the two little fuckers responsible get a proper punishment, but I'm not holding my breath

  11. fair play, i've never met a celtic fan to be honest but the images of their fans holding 'follow your leader' banners and antifacist symbols seems to be a big indicator of that club's supporters. i have met members of FLAF and whilst they're controversial because of their leadership (i think thats why? i'm not up to date on leftist drama), i do remember them having a presence at quite a few counter rallies and stuff. was always reassuring to have a bunch of scary football hooligans next to the block.

  12. Hi, I'm a Celtic fan. I can't speak for every, single Celtic fan, and I suppose there will be an element of absolute fuds in the fan base (as with everything), but the fans I do know are pretty left-leaning and certainly anti-fascist. Definitely not racist. As I said, I can't speak for all Celtic fans, though

  13. Death Atlas is one of the most important records. It's message and ferocious delivery are exceptionally executed

  14. Agreed. That album just hits different. It's definitely Cattle Decap at their best. They've a few gigs coming up in the UK next year, so I'm going to try and catch one while they're here

  15. I'm decorating our bedroom at the moment, and going for a kinda grown-up Goth look. It's dark green, and we may thrift some furniture for it. Our living room is nice and bright though. Lots of framed movie posters, horror and Star Wars figures etc. Absolutely nothing like the house I grew up in

  16. I knew before I clicked that link I was gonna regret it. Barbaric. Those poor, wee souls

  17. F*cking kids, and their useless waste of space parents. I've personally seen parents in the UK buying their child who was 8!!! A disposable vape. The parents are far more to blame than the children, their needs to be severe punishments for the parents of these children who are vaping and it is not fair that adults who have already quit or are trying to quit smoking may have vaping restricted for them.

  18. I overheard two women, in my local vape shop, discussing which flavours they were gonna buy their kids for stocking fillers. The owner of the shop also heard their conversation and refused to serve them. I mean, wtf? There has been a long history of teens getting their hands on stuff which they aren't old enough for, I know I started smoking at 15, but going out and purposefully buying your children stuff they aren't at the legal age for is fkn wrong

  19. I have that second cover on my copy. Got it from a charity shop, so at least some good came from it

  20. It's between the Rex escaping her paddock, the velociraptors in the kitchen and the 'clever girl' scene for me. If I really had to choose one, though, it'd be the raptors in the kitchen. It's such a tense scene, and even though I've seen JP countless times now, it still has me on the edge of my seat

  21. I didn't get to see The Exorcist til I was 17, as my mum wouldn't allow it in the house. She was 13 when it was released, she went to the cinema to see it (I guess age restriction wasn't a thing in the UK at the time. Either that or people didn't give a flying fuck), and the experience is one that really stuck with her. Personally, I don't find the film that scary. There's defo some shocking scenes in it, right enough. The book, on the other hand, I find terrifying, but I will insist on reading it at least once a year. The Exorcist is one of my favourite films

  22. Jaws, The Exorcist, and (I don't know if it counts) Jurassic Park

  23. For me it's when Rexy steps out of her paddock. I remember being in awe as a child when I first saw that scene in the cinema, and, 30 years later, it's still the same

  24. It was more a waterfall. Every Dino scene was better and better but yep when the Rex comes stomping out I was just blown away. I’m not sure I touched a single kernel of popcorn or took a sip of soda the rest of the movie. 11-12 year old me was gobsmacked.

  25. Haha, same! I was 11 when I went to see it with my uncle, my cousin and my sister. One of my most treasured childhood memories is going to see JP. The end scene, when the Rex bursts in and saves the group from the raptors, will always be a favourite too purely because of the utter relief 11 year old me felt at the time

  26. No diamonds. I trashed a few tasks (mostly sanctuary), and completed the event with a couple hours to spare. It was a close call, though

  27. Four years on, and I still have my brothers number saved. I used to send him texts that I know he's never gonna see, but I've stopped that now. Still can't delete the number, though
