  1. I remember YouTube let you pass ads in 5 seconds and that was acceptable but now they show 30 second and sometimes 1 minute ads that cannot be skipped and the frequency of showing ads has increased a lot.

  2. Remember when ads were just a small banner at the bottom of the video which you could click to remove?  I didn't use an AdBlocker back then. These days I do.

  3. I had a lot of fun with it in the Beta

  4. I miss this game so much. Shame what they did to it.

  5. What did they do? I only played a little bit around release.

  6. Basically they had no vision for the game so they kept changing things around randomly.  Then, when the game was broken beyond salvation they launched "Homecoming", reworking the entire game. Imagine Riot announcing that league will have 4 lanes, no jungle and an entirely new champion roster.  This of course alienated large parts of the playerbase, destroying the great community this game had. Game then slowly died.  The servers are still up, but the game will no longer receive updates.

  7. The woman being tied up is called Mia Julia Brückner and is a german porn actress and singer. The show is an offshoot of one of Germany's most (in)famous trash-tv shows called 'Dschungelcamp'. All talk in the video is unrelated to the topic, I don't know why they tied her up except for the fact that this is the kind of show where they would tie up a pretty girl for publicity.

  8. NC. We just thought it was funny that each liter counted as a unit, as if we'd transported 3.9k steel beams.

  9. How do you see this screen in the game?

  10. At the end of a multiplayer session if you return to main menu there is this recap.

  11. This picture perfectly summarizes this truck.

  12. I have not yet been to that ski slope in Scandinavia, so I'm not sure how large an incline it is. But I'm in Amur currently, and I have the setup you mention for the Kenworth. I've gotten it locked up on hills that my Grad and Kolob handled easily with semi-trailers.

  13. People have very different definitions of 'good' or 'capable' on here. This makes discussing trucks a nightmare.

  14. Can't understand why this post, that just points out the current problems, get's downvotes? It would help us players all if they finally start fixing their game. Haven't seen another game wich was unplayable for months cause of crashes and still get's defended like it's the holy grace itself. Why don't you all get the point that we, who criticize the bug policy of saber, are on your side!?

  15. Thing is... I don't have any bugs. And Year 3 was the best content they ever did.  From my point of view the "buggers" are a vocal minority. I will buy Year 4 and I really look forward to it.  Also Saber really don't feel like one of those "evil devs" to me. They release good content at a fair price and do listen to community feedback.

  16. Meanwhile I launched the game a few hours ago with my friend, we had a blast trying out the new FEMM. Then I went here looking to see how people like the new region and am greeted by this. What the hell is going on?

  17. I mean, isn't the new FEMM exactly this? Only with 3 axles?

  18. If farming really, really, really isn't yours - which I totally understand, Snowrunner farming is probably my worst gaming experience ever - there is guide on this subreddit on how to quickly and easily mod your game so that farming becomes a breeze.

  19. I know this is AI, but I just love the thought of a tiny human with a tiny steering wheel sitting behind these massive front windows.

  20. Thread is already flooded with comments, but I will leave my two cents anyway.

  21. i'm trying to understand this viewpoint. before if you Q on someone and you didn't know max range you walk towards them, now your Q will not hit them. how is that better? when i learned league i hated how my miss fortune E wasn't working like 95% of abilities and didn't go where i clicked

  22. Personally it helps me keep track of the ball in teamfights. I cannot count the times I messed up my ults because I cancelled an out-of-range q earlier and the ball wasn't where I thought it would be. Now I always know where my ball is, because with max-range-cast it will always move at least approximately to where I wanted it to be.

  23. Perhaps you should use a truck with AWD.

  24. The Burlak is not suited for NAI. The Burlak thrives in deep mud and snow, not on rocky slopes. NAI is mostly difficult for the player, not for the truck, meaning the main challenges will be route selection and not tipping over. Meaning you either want to bring the Tatarin or not go there with a scout at all.

  25. I wouldn't play hard mode. It adds nothing to the game except "everything costs money". I mean if that is your thing, go for it, but to me it always detracted from the gameplay experience instead of adding to it.

  26. Idk, after the atrocious run of Yukon-Wisconsin-Amur Don felt really nice to me. Reasonable cargo amounts, terrain that feels like my driving actually matters and a rather unique autumn look made this map a rather pleasurable experience. Especially because it was so short. I wouldn't say it's a great map, but a good one.

  27. Oh but they will - and they will teach you how to drive in this game, not just point-and-steer with an always-on-AWD-and-diff-lock-8x8-monster, but to drive without AWD, without diff lock, and without the best tires. And that will help even when driving that always-on-AWD-and-diff-lock-8x8-monster.

  28. Yeah... but why keep them when the 8x8 monster is still the better truck..?

  29. Variety? Challenge? Dare I say... Fun?

  30. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I felt we were talking about game balance, not fun. You can do what is fun for you, sure. Though for me struggling with a suboptimal truck is not fun. Still, my point remains. If you are talking about choosing the best truck for a mission, then there is no reason to keep any of the trucks in the OP.

  31. I really wish snowrunner would add tracked vehicles. Completely dominate snow and mud, but absolutely terrible on rock and pavement. That way, for really muddy areas we would be incentivized to use highway trucks and low trailers to bring our tracked trucks to the mud.

  32. "incentivized to use highway trucks and low trailers to bring our tracked trucks to the mud." Please, anything but that...

  33. People will defend the Transtar, yet at the same time find fault with the Tatarin.

  34. I mean... yeah, it's Michigan. What did you expect? If a truck doesn't work in Michigan (or Alaska for that matter) they might as well just patch it out. Being able to do the bare minimum does not make it good, it makes it passable. And I would be surprised if there is even a single truck in this game that isn't at least passable.

  35. Ontario is like a miniature version of this Michigan. The first map is very easy, but also beautiful and so much fun to drive. The second map is more akin to Island Lake and Drummond Island. It has no garage, takes a long time to reach and requires a lot of logistics to work. Also the water missions and half dozen water towers you have build can be a drag. The Ontario trucks are useless, though you can use the Derry if you really want.

  36. I remember when I tried to do that infernal last mission and got two friends to help me. Things started bad (we went to the wrong field), got worse (one of my friends made a 1 hour 'detour' over the wrong map), finally broke down completely (driving over the field no longer gave completion %) and at last descended into madness (two trucks+trailers turned into a hurricane of mechanical parts).
