Try applying only for product based company or startups for some time and keep upskilling yourself. Make projects of your own in free time. Sooner or later, you will definitely get opportunities. Bro , your post gave me motivation, I also did my engineering in 7 years from some tier-3 shit college ( I lost my dad and went into depression during that time ), I got my first job 8 months ago after getting back on track , my mom helped me alot and I am working day and night to prove myself , hope I'll be able to reach at your level someday , I am 28 earning 4LPA btw

But I'd suggest to atleast share your current situation with your gf if she's supportive.
