This 100% but also something else (maybe it’s just me): because I’m so against the grain with how I think of things sometimes I’m always conflicted in my mind with the possibility that I’M the one that’s fucked in the head. I mean how else do we explain that I’m having issues functioning in society. It’s easy for other people to be more social, easier for them to achieve things I feel I have the credentials to achieve, etc.
Because we’re weird. We make up a low single digit percentage of the world. By definition we’re outside of the bell curve. It makes the dating pool of compatible partners that much smaller.
I appreciate the perspective. I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I just feel like I need to be proactive about it but maybe I just need to not think about it.
