Try editing the match and select change participants. Most of the time for me, it'll fix the issue and change it to a singles match that makes more sense.
That's just it though...you shouldn't have to. If two wrestlers are part of an active tag team/faction, which you can assign in game, then they shouldn't be booked against each other. Basic matchmaking logic.
