Attempt to reduce stress source. Overly stressful job was a good portion of the root of my excessive drinking.

This is how I did it. Was deep in 50+ drinks/week territory for a long time before I finally pieced together that it was a stress issue. I set a lot of boundaries with the people in my life who stressed me out, changed jobs, and put in a loooot of work (both mental work on myself and literal labor to keep myself occupied). These days, I go many weeks between drinks, and a heavy night is like 3-4 beers.

Get some LaCroixs or other carbonated beverages and drink those to pretend you're drinking. That's what I do sometimes to cutback on alcohol.

Yeah, this seems like it wants to go in an artifact aristocrat deck but just never seems to fit. The mana cost isn't so bad--7 mana might be peanuts if you have [[Krark-Clan Ironworks]] up. But the targeting restriction absolutely kills it. It has to be targeted by a spell specifically--not by a targeted ability or ETB trigger. Like, you very badly want to power this guy out there and drop [[Altar of the Wretched]] on it but that won't get you the 1/1's. You want to have something like a [[Village Rites]] or maybe a return-to-hand enchantment like [[Rancor]], and artifact aristocrat decks typically don't run a ton of those effects.
