When BFIAFL came out I didnāt really care for this song and skipped it a lot, I felt it didnāt match the vibe of the album, but now as BFIAFL has aged I can now say this is one of my favorite tracks off the album.
During my honeymoon in November 2022 we took a cruise and one of the stops was in Puerto Rico. There was one coffee shop in particular I desperately wanted to go to called Don Ruiz. When I walked in I noticed Oh Caroline was playing! I was so shocked! Thousands of miles from home in a random coffee shop on an island was playing the boys. Then I noticed the rest of the album was playing in order! My husband saw one of the baristas singing so he struck up a conversation and we told her what a huge fan I am. I showed her my box tattoo and she was so excited. She said she hopes she can see them live one day. I think about her from time to time, hoping that she got to see them on this past tour.
Itās cool to think that bands like the 1975, really any band we happen to enjoy reached anyone and anywhere. Thatās the thing about music no matter where you come from it reaches you for whatever reason
I looked at my crushās playlist on Spotify a couple years back when I was in high school and she had a playlist titled āsongs to fuck tooā and the first song on the playlist was āsheās Americanāā¦. So imma leave that there
When BFIAFL first came out, I wasnāt a huge fan of happiness but I can now say thatās itās one of my most listened to the songs by the band, after awhile something clicked and I realized how awesome this song actually is
Yeah thatās ridiculous to say that, itās not peopleās fault they canāt necessarily get floor tickets. That goes for any artists honestly if you show up to the show and just love the band it doesnāt make you a bigger or better fan then anyone else. The whole point is the crowd is United in loving the artist, that goes for any artist
I think itās more him reflecting on the state of the world, trends, etc at the moment and how he feels sorry for young people who have to learn and navigate this increasingly tricky existence while also reflecting on his own experiences as someone whose now in their early/mid 30s. āSorry bout my 20s I was learning the ropesā isnāt really relatable to a teenager or someone in their twenties, many people under the age of 21 probably donāt know what Qanon really was, etc
I agree to that, I was showing that despite his age he can still reflect on the lives of young adults and it just shows something about this band and itās understanding and relatability

I'm new to record players n stuff do you just use the record player or also speakers/add one ??
I personally just have the player I think it sounds perfect that way but you can definitely add speakers for most players
This song and stats fm is so relatable

iliwys era. That era was something to witness. That album is such a masterpiece. Also, 2016 was a time I took for granted for sure.
2016 was really an amazing time for life and music.
Brief Inquiryā¦ everything seemed to be stable in my life. 2018 was a year.
My personal favorite album from the band, 2018 was definitely one of the better years soundtracked by the great album
Already downloaded and listening š

Spotify is weird about these top 10s, it's split between the actual top-ranking songs and the currently trending ones. Like, where the fuck is Sex?
Yeah, but maybe sex will be in the top 10 now with the flipping TikTok trend š
How do you get to this? Is this even the real top ten ? Itās Not in order. Why is Be My Mistake so popular?! Thatās unexpected.
Itās on their Spotify page, Spotify always mixes up the order it seems on all artists
Damn I got 2
Send me one bruh š
An orange repress got released yesterday. Got that one for ā¬40 instead of paying so much for the clear variant.
I saw a listing of them, might get one of those, I could care less the color of the pressing at this point

It also sums up being this age right now in the current climate of 2023
